I've been talking about the Clone Wars a lot recently on this blog and that will continue as the Black Series line of Star Wars figures from Hasbro continues to give a lot of new love to the show that it definitely deserves. We've gotten Ahsoka, the Ahsoka Trooper, and Cad Bane all recently so I'm coming to back to my base post of my most wanted figures from all of Clone Wars and revising it for a part 2. Hasbro recently put up a video on their Hasbropulse website talking about the classic monsters of the week villains that Power Rangers typically fight in each episode of the franchise. That's got me wondering if they have these specific villain types on the brain and if we could see them included in the line soon? The variation of designs of these villains are literally everything, as almost every object or idea out there has been turned into a Power Ranger villain at some point over these almost 30 years the show has been running. Mighty Morphin seems like the obvious place to start with these baddies, and there is quite a few iconic foes to pull from those original batch of villains. So with the Power Rangers line still powerfully pushing forward, these are the top 5 monsters of the week I'd like to see made into plastic form! Mcfarlane recently revealed a Batcycle vehicle from the Death Metal series currently running from DC, which means the gates are now open for the toy company to delve into this new Crisis the DC universe has found itself in. While the story is only a few issues in, it seems that isn't stopping Mcfarlane from going full steam ahead into the pages of this insane chapter in DC's history, and I already have a few choices about what characters I'd like to see adapted into figure form! Hasbro's love for the Clone Wars era of Star Wars is very present at the moment. We've had several figures based on the show revealed and upcoming, with no doubt more on the horizon to be unveiled for fans! Another animated show that I hope starts getting the same kind of treatment is Rebels. While it wasn't immediately loved by fans, and still hasn't built up the popularity Clone Wars has, it was still a rich addition to the Star Wars fandom that had proven to be beloved. We finally got the sixth and final member of the Ghost's crew lately with Zeb, and along with him rereleases of the previous five members. Hasbro obviously knows the show's potential for figures by rereleasing all these figures knowing they'll be bought up, and here are five more Rebels characters I hope get introduced to the 6 inch figure line soon! I've been making posts recently about characters from specific storylines I'd like to see made in Mcfarlane's line of DC figures, and this past few months I finished the New 52 series of Batman comics from Snyder and Capullo. I absolutely love what the series did with Batman along with the numerous new villains and storylines that were given to us throughout the run. I know a lot of it has been covered by Mattel's DC Multiverse run, but a lot of them have Mattel's subpar articulation and right now nothing can beat Mcfarlane's sculpting and articulation. Clones have been a major selling point for the Star Wars Black Series line from Hasbro and they've recently even introduced a new mold for these fan favorite characters to use for the years coming. We've gotten a few clone figures recently that clear out my previous list of most wanted clones from the Star Wars universe, with figures of Fox, Bly, and finally the Phase 1 lieutenant finally captured in 6 inch plastic form. Marvel Legends really surprised a lot of us by revealing a Venom movie inspired Venom figure in their most recent line up of Venomverse characters. It was something I really wasn't anticipating happening with Sony and Marvel's discrepancy with one another, but now I feel like the door has been opened for more collaboration between the two when it comes to figures. I hope that Venom is just the start, and that we can get a whole slew of new movie based figures from Sony's Spiderman universe!
