Another subline that started during Hasbro's War For Cybertron toyline trilogy that is still going to this day is the new IDW based Shattered Glass collection! Starting with a two pack of Optimus and Ratchet, Hasbro has settled into releasing groups of five Shattered Glass figures which all come with an accompanying comic set in a new Shattered Glass universe which I've greatly enjoyed! Our first set of five gave us Starscream, Megatron, Goldbug, Jetfire, and Blurr, and we're now partway through the second set! Ultra Magnus, Slicer, and Blaster have all joined the collection, and with two more figures to be revealed, and a whole new set of comics coming soon in the future, these are the top 5 Shattered Glass figures I hope to see in the line! I've really been enjoying Hasbro's recent trend of releasing "capsules" of themed characters for the Transformers line! It's been very fun to see what characters get added to the line outside of the mainline through these programs, bringing us more and more of the Transformers universe every year! The Wreckers and most recent Velocitron capsules have been delights and two that the Transformers team have stated already that they want to keep going with in the future! With that in mind there's lots of characters who could fit into these lines that I hope to see down the line maybe for waves 2 of these capsules or in the mainline itself! Sinister Strange This was the one we all thought was Strange Supreme after the first trailers but the movie itself makes it very evident that this is not the case, the character has a different history and very much strays towards the side of evil. He did provide for one of the visually most exciting fights in the movie for the short time he was present, especially the musical battle sequence! (Image Source) 4. The Illuminati There's one character from this team that I will safe for later on but the team as a whole was very cool to see and provided for one of the most gruesome battle scenes in the whole of the MCU! There were so many awesome easter eggs to be found in this group as well, with Black Bolt being brought back with a comic accurate suit, Xavier from the X-Men films being present, and Captain Carter being translated into live action! The tragic mission of the Rogue One has easily become one of my favorite stories in the whole franchise, while the heist movie Solo is one that that sat with me a lot better than it seems to have with most people. While I feel like a lot of ships these days are overlooked in comparison to the iconic designs of the originals and prequels (barring examples like Mandalorian's Razorcrest) I think a lot of great ship designs came out of these two films! Clocking in at 6 episodes, Obi Wan Kenobi on Disney+ is so far the shortest running Star Wars series; however, one of the best and I really enjoyed it for each episode of its serialized story! We were introduced to plenty of cool new characters, a lot of returning characters from the films and series, and most importantly got a new adventure with Ewan McGregor's Obi Wan that I loved seeing play out! The toyline for the show has grown extremely fast as well with Hasbro wasting no time in producing many of the biggest characters and designs from the series, and with the show now wrapped up, here are my most wanted figures to be made from each episode of the series! Another realm of the Transformers legacy that the Hasbro toyline has been delving into more and more recently has been the Diaclone repaints from which Transformers itself stemmed from! We've gotten lots of neat renditions of characters through this venue such as Tigertrack, Lift Ticket, and most recently additions like Clamp Down and Burnout! There's still plenty more of these original figures to pay homage to, and these would be my top 5 most wanted! (Image Source) Honorable mentions: Loudpedal Hasbro has already been double dipping into the recent Tracks mold with Road Rage; however, they could go a step further and give us Loudpedal, the entirely black repaint of the mold which looks awesome! Anything given a standard black paintjob looks great, such as Snake Eyes for example whose entirely black color scheme helped him become one of the line's most popular characters!
