Top 5 wanted S.H.Figuarts Dragon Ball Z figures

Image
With the conclusion of Dragon Ball I have seen the quintessential fight anime. While very light on actual plot, the spectacle of world shaking battles never lightened up as we were treated to one destructive event after another in an escalating series of arcs. From Frieza to Cell to Buu the anime world was treated to iconic villains with equally iconic transformations for the heroes. Tamashii Nations has made Dragon Ball Z the bread and butter of their S.H.Figuarts line and the Frieza Saga in particular has enjoyed a heaping helping of action figure support over the past few years. Despite the high output of figures every year there are still dozens of characters, transformations, and outfits still yearning to be made in the line and in this list I'll count down my top 5 most wanted Dragon Ball Z action figures! Honorable mentions: Kid Buu and Future Gohan Don't get me wrong, I would absolutely love an official Kid Buu figure from S.H.Figuarts and I feel it is one of the most g...

Top 5 wanted S.H.Figuarts One Piece Summit War saga figures

Image
The Summit War saga for One Piece was an absolutely insane stretch of connected arcs and storylines that truly paid off 500 episodes of story building, world building, and character development. Enies Lobby is still my favorite overall One Piece arc at this point in the show, but Marineford and the Summit War saga have joined it as some of my all time favorite anime arcs of all time. There are so many epic scenes, insane fight sequences, emotional moments, and outstanding characters introduced or returning that narrowing it down into a top 5 for my most wanted figures from S.H.Figuarts from this saga was tough. I have done so, and with the time skip on the horizon for me, let's take a look back at the insane arc that literally changed the world of One Piece and what figures from Tamashii Nations are an absolute must for their line.  Honorable mention: Magellan Starting off with an honorable mention, I wanted to like Magellan a lot more than I did. Impel Down was such a cool setting...

Top 5 most wanted G.I. Joe Classified B.A.T.S. figures

Image
(Banner Image Source)   (Following Images Source) The B.A.T.S. have been a constant in the GI Joe Classified line since the near beginning and every time they've been released in new variants or colors it has been a delight as one of the best molds in the line! The robotic warriors are some of the funnest army builders for the 6 inch scale line with plenty of diversity when it comes to accessories and weapon/battle damaged options. With the Retro BAT being the most recent reveal for this sub-collection in the line, I've picked out my top 5 most wanted BAT variants going forward.  5. Overkill Sporting a unique name and an even more unique design, Overkill would be a welcome addition to the BAT battalion as a stand out unit whose figure would be one of the most diverse in the line so far. With plenty of color, a clear chest window, and a zany weapon array, Overkill would be a wild addition to the military line up. 4. Nano Easily achievable using pieces that already exist in the ...

Top 5 most wanted G.I. Joe Classified Ninja Force figures

Image
(Banner Image Source)   (Following Images Source) The Ninja Force side of the GI Joe Classified line by Hasbro has been popping off lately especially with the two pack reveal of Slice and Dice who look like two of the best ninja themed characters to be released in the line so far! Nunchuck also rates up high as one of my favorites, with these martial arts styled characters being some of the most fun and unique in the line compared to their more military-styled comrades. There's still plenty of characters and variants from the world of Ninja Force to be updated for the modern day, and these are the top 5 I hope to see next in this growing subline! 5. Night Creeper The Nightcreeper we got in the mainline is one of my all time favorite army builders thus far, with a great sculpt, lots of unique accessories, and both the standard and Ninja Force styled headsculpts! All the sculpting exists pretty much to create its Ninja Force variant, all it needs is a repaint capturing the wonderful ...

Top 5 most wanted G.I. Joe Classified Night Force figures

Image
(Banner Image Source)   (Following Images Source) The Night Force team from G.I. Joe is one of the latest to be getting a lot of focus from the Hasbro team in the 6 inch G.I. Joe Classified line of figures. The most recent reveals were that of Beachhead and Quick Kick in a two pack at toyfair, furthering this group which have had a great more covert color scheme and offered new versions of many characters such as Falcon who desperately needed a second shot. With Night Force currently hot in the line, these are the Night Force members I hope to see soon. 5. Grunt Grunt is a fun dual purpose figure in the line with him also serving the purpose of army building as a generic soldier, and that purpose could be achieved again with this iteration of the character. The tank top and camo across the neck/face would make for a great army builder in the Night Force sub team, as well as give Grunt another release for fans.  4. Duke Duke has enjoyed quite a few releases at this point, and a...

Top 5 most wanted G.I. Joe Classified Mad Marauders figures

Image
(Banner Image Source)   (Following Images Source) Sgt. Slaughter's Mad Marauders are another sub group in the G.I. Joe line that have been seeing more and more releases as of late. Sgt. Slaughter himself has been released with the signature blue color scheme of the Mad Marauders, with Barbecue actually being the first release of the group years ago, and a two pack of Low Light and Spirit coming out recently. This isn't an extensive group so we're pretty close to rounding out the group, and these five slots would pretty much finish up the squad for the Classified line.  5. Falcon Falcon's initial release in the line is one of the few major misses for the design team, one which they easily rectified when it came around to the Nightforce release of the character. Falcon deserves yet another shot at redemption to wipe away the lackluster first release of the character, this time as part of Slaughter's squad with the expected blues.  4. Footloose Footloose is a character...

Top 5 most wanted G.I. Joe Classified Iron Grenadiers figures

Image
(Banner Image Source)   (Following Images Source) We have been seeing more and more of Destro's Iron Grenadiers in the G.I. Joe Classified including the titular guards of the group themselves which were a splendid release from 2024. Metalhead was an impressive deluxe release from the group, with a B.A.T. variant and Destro's family kin Darklon produced for the ranks as well. With Tiger Force and Python Patrol having a hefty presence in the line, it seems like Iron Grenadiers may be one of the next sublines and I sure hope so for these designs I want to see soon! 5. Destro There's no Iron Grenadiers without Destro himself and the leader of the group surely deserves a figure based on this design. The black and gold is always a striking color choice, but what really makes this figure distinct is the red cape owing to a regal appearance. It feels like a while since we've gotten a Destro release, and this would be a great way to get the character back into the fray.  4. Volt...
