Star Wars the Black Series line continues to be one of the best detailed, best looking line of figures on the market and its highly varied offering of characters from movies, tv shows, and games means that there is likely something for any Star Wars fans. Though this random picking of characters may seem random at times, popular demand for certain characters means they will be made before others, and that the likelihood for some characters makes them more highly probable to see life in the line sooner rather than later. I've made two lists already about what I thought were the most likely figures to come to the line, and from my last list we've had reveals/releases for the Sith Jet Trooper, the Hoth Rebel, Zeb, and more Luke Skywalker figures. So I've put together a third list of the characters I consider most likely to receive Black Series figures next, and here are the ones I settled on. Hasbro's line of new Power Rangers figures has become an instant hit in my collection and for a lot of other fans! It has gotten me back into watching Power Rangers and working my way back through all of the series! A lot of great stories and characters are being reintroduced to me and getting this new line of highly articulated, graciously accessorized figures is a real treat! To further celebrate this line, I'm looking through each era of Power Rangers content and deciding which ranger I want most from each show based on what has been done so far and what hasn't been done! Ghostbusters was a surprising new addition to Hasbro's license of figures to make, and the figures in their first wave look really incredible! It makes me excited for the line to potentially continue, and for all of the potential characters to get Hasbro figures that follow suit with the really great offerings in wave 1! NECA gave us a huge surprise this year with the reveal of a full range of action figures for the Back to the Future franchise! This is definitely one of the most popular franchises out there and I didn't know that I needed action figures for it until now! So far we've had a couple of reveals in the form of Marty from the first movie, Marty in the second movie, Marty in his spaceman costume, and then Biff from the first movie. Batwoman made it two episodes away from their original planned finale before having their season cut short by the virus. This means that 20 has become the season finale for the first season of the show, and while other shows like Flash or Supergirl who are in later seasons may not be impacted as much on a critical level, this was the big finale to the freshman season of Batwoman which means it is the season under the most scrutiny by fans and viewers. I feel like the Marvel Legends line hasn't totally delved into the alternate universe stories that they have under Marvel's comic belt; however, we recently got the reveal of a two pack based on the Old Man Logan comic book featuring a new Old Man Logan including baby Hulk, and Old Man Hawkeye. Both look phenomenal, and already I'm hoping that the Old Man universe is further expanded in the toyline as it is a very popular Marvel universe. We recently got the impromptu season finale for the Flash's 6th season on the air, and it'll be our last Flash episode for a while so it was what left us with thoughts to cover the next several months until season 7 is put into production and released. Despite being an unintentional finale, the episode had a lot of merit as the final episode of the season and appropriately wrapped up a few big storylines while leaving a lot of cliffhangers for us to dwell on. I've mentioned before how excited I am for the Fox Xmen series to be entering the Marvel Legends lie with some great looking figures so far! The Deadpool movie actually composes most of the first offering, with Deadpool himself, Cable, Domino, and Negasonic all a part of the initial assortment. One of Mcfarlane's lines that went down before I started collecting toys was the Movie Maniacs line which seems to have been an outlet for all kinds of different movie figures without adhereing to one particular license. I love the concept of this line as possibly anything could pop up in the line, from Jason Voorhees to Shaft to Pumpkinhead, lots of oddball monsters and movie characters were assorted through the line. With the insane success of the Spawn kickstarter, Mcfarlane has discussed reviving some of his other lines and Movie Maniacs was one he mentioned specifically. I would love see what characters from this modern age Mcfarlane would choose for the line, and in particular here are 5 movie characters I'd love to see in a revived line.
