Daima is the latest entry into the Dragon Ball universe offering a fun adventure taking place immediately after the end of the Buu saga. As it is the most current series it has seen a lot of love from Tamashii Nation's S.H.Figuarts line with many figures already released and many more revealed for the future. It expanded the world with new lore, new characters, and new villains, and with it at the height of popularity now this list is my top 5 most wanted figures from Tamashii Nations!
5. Releasing all the figures already shown
Dragon Ball does have a track record of showing off figures that never actually see the light of day, and I'm hoping that isn't the case with all of the Daima figures that have been shown off at conventions. Glorio, Panzy, and kid Kai have been seen several times and are desperately needed to finish off the core adventuring group of the series, and very recently we saw a litany of reveals including the magnificent Kuu and Duu who I'd love to see officially released! With Daima now finished airing I hope that doesn't mean we've seen an end to the official release of figures supporting it, because we have a ton of prototypes shown off that are awaiting release!
4. Neva
Namekians have always been extremely cool and made for fun action figures in the line. The upcoming Nail looks to be one of the best releases so far, and Neva would be a great addition to the Daima display. He was the catalyst for the SS4 transformation, and a lot of information throughout the series as he guided the group. He also sports the older Namekian design with the wrinkled head which we haven't seen adapted in S.H.Figuarts so far.
3. SS4 Goku (adult)
The return of SS4 to the series was a triumph, and while the kid version is cool I'm more keen on getting the adult version that we see in the finale of the series. Daima switches up the design by giving Goku the red hair and adjusting where the hair on his arms start, giving it a more distinct look from GT's SS4 and a worthy design for a Figuarts release. Tamashii Nations is likely waiting for the kid version to be released before putting out the adult version, and that's the version most fans will be waiting for.
2. Dr. Arinsu
Another Daima original character and one I'm hoping to see a figure release of! There are lots of female characters across the Dragon Ball universe who haven't seen figure releases yet (Vidal for example), and Dr. Arinsu is a recent character who certainly deserves her due for her importance to the series. She's responsible for the creation of Kuu and Duu, and Glorio's master who informs a lot of his decisions throughout the series. She's also got a heck of a design, pulling off her look effortlessly.
1. SS3 Vegeta (adult)
While SS4 Goku was a nice design to see make a return, SS3 Vegeta was something we have never officially gotten before and Daima made it a reality (or Ultra Vegeta 1, if you're feeling frisky). Just like SS4 Goku we are getting the kid version of SS3 Vegeta first and once that has been allowed to be released and sold I'm expecting to see the adult version revealed not long afterwards. It was a wonderful time to be a fan to see Vegeta finally take on this classic transformation, and his spiked hair extending even further back and upwards was a great distinction for his look vs Goku's.
