So I wanted to highlight some of the superheroes that I wanted to see in the line, as I'm sure heroes are more of what we'll be getting anyways (as evidenced so far). So here is my top 5 most wanted heroes in Fondjoy's DC line of figures! Honorable Mention: Suicide Squads Coming in as honorable mentions are members of the Suicide Squad! With characters like Boomerang, Ratcatcher 2, Enchantress, Weasel, and Diablo being some of my biggest wants. A couple of these characters actually appeared on my other top 5 most wanted list, but being as that these characters are technically all villains, and only "heroes" in the setting of the Suicide Squad, that is why they're just honorable mentions this time around for my list of most wanted heroes. 5. Exceptionally articulation and paint, along with a plethora of accessories, and for a price point I stomach better nowadays since I've began collecting higher price point lines like S.H.Figuarts. Fondjoy's DC Comics line of movie action figures so far seen to be fantastic, with a few looking wonky here and there (specifically headsculpts for Henry Cavill and Heath Ledger) but their newest figures look perfect and I can't wait for the few that I've ordered so far to come in! (Banner Image Source)   (Following Images 5, 4, 3, 2 Source) Mcfarlane has been delving more and more into the live action realm of the DC Multiverse with his action figure line recently with the release of whole waves dedicated to both The Dark Knight trilogy as well as Batman and Robin (as seen above). I am all for more live action representation in the line, and we've seen it continue with single releases such as Ben Affleck's BvS Batman design and Hathaway's Catwoman, not to mention Michael Keaton's original Batman suit. It seems that the live action Batman films are ripe sources for Mcfarlane at the moment, and looking at all our live action interpretations from the years, these are my most wanted figures from across the Batman film franchise.  5. Mcfarlane continued his DC Multiverse line for a fourth year, extending his initial contract past the original three year agreement he had made with DC Comics. I'm more than happy for this to continue, and I hope it does for the foreseeable future because I've loved to finally have a line of super articulated DC Comics action figures that fit modern day articulation and sculpting standards! While I still think that 2022 was overall the best year for the line so far, and I found 2023 to be too common when it came to repaints, there were still so many cool action figures to come out for the DC Comics universe, and in this list I'll be counting down my top 10 of 2023! (Image Source) James Gunn's DCU series is branching out into several forms of media, and while I've already gone over the movies in his initial line up that are coming out, I'm going to now talk about the five television shows hitting in the next several years. There are some projects here that I'm really looking forward to, and some that I am not as excited about, but it all promises to introduce plenty of exciting characters from the comics and widen out the breadth of this new DC series! 5. Waller (Image Source) At the bottom of the list is the project I'm overall least excited about from all 10 projects, and that would be the Amanda Waller led tv show. (Image Source) James Gunn made waves in comic book news earlier this year when he debuted the initial line up for his Chapter 1 of the rebooted DCU movie universe that'll be upcoming in the next few years! 10 projects in total were unveiled, five movies and five tv shows, and all of them seeming very promising in giving us a diverse, interconnected DC movie universe that I couldn't be more excited for! There are definitely a few surprises that I wouldn't have guessed to be coming in the line up, especially so early into the universe's incarnation, and starting with the movies from the announcement this is my ranking of my excitement for the five initial films in James Gunn's DCU chapter 1! 5. (Image Source) The Flash movie has hit hard with an awesome looking Super Bowl trailer, and Ezra Miller controversy aside I'm so excited for so many things in this movie from Supergirl to double Batman to kind-of-Flashpoint to freaking General Zod!! More than that, I'm excited to see what kind of toyline rollout Mcfarlane will give for this movie! Past movies have all gotten a whole assortment of characters, but the most recent film, Shazam 2, only got the titular character and I'm hoping that won't be the case for this film.
