Most Wanted Toylines

Image
It is hard for me to believe that this blog has already hit it's 100th post! A lot has changed in my life over the past year, but this blog has been a constant thing for me to come to and work on. I like having this place to write down just random thoughts about random things I'm interested in. It helps me better reflect on tv shows when I write reviews of the episodes, it makes me more excited for movies by talking about what characters or such I want to see, and most of all it is a outlet for me to write about all manner of toy news and hopes. I've talked about several different lines on my blog, with action figures being the biggest focus of my posts, so I though the most appropriate theme for my 100th blog post would be listing off the toy lines that I wish were happening. Some of them may or may not have more premium, deluxe priced and sized figures available currently; however, I'm not really into laying down a large sum of money for individual figures and prefer

Top 5 wanted Mega Construx ghost type Pokemon Pokeball sets

Image
Moving past the main three types of the Pokemon world, the next post in this series will be focusing on ghost types who are some of my favorite Pokemon from each region! Thus far, Mega Construx hasn't done a ton of different ghost type Pokemon, so there is a wide array available! With these posts, I look into the smaller sized, typically first evolution Pokemon that would fit the size range for a pokeball set. The release of this type in that series would also be the perfect time to release the Dusk ball, though I'll settle just for getting these Pokemon. 5. Ghastly First up is the original ghost type Pokemon! We got Gengar as a convention exclusive last year, so the absence of that Pokemon's earlier evolutions have been more readily felt. Ghastly is one of the original 151, making him a prime candidate for entry into the line, and his figure could have a very unique style and design towards it. Thanks to the Pokemon's cloudy ball design we could have an example i

Top 10 most wanted McFarlane Harry Potter Wizarding World figures

Image
McFarlane made a major announcement earlier this year with the declaration that they had acquired the license for Harry Potter figures and would produce a 7 inch scale line of action figures based around the eight movies, along with the films in the Fantastic Beasts saga. I am a huge Harry Potter fan and for a long time have wanted a line of larger scale figures from the wizarding world, and it is finally happening! Wave 1 consists of Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Voldemort all from the Deathy Hallows which is a very strong lineup to start with; not to mention that McFarlane stated that series 2 is currently slated to be focused on the Chamber of Secrets! There are a plethora of characters from the Harry Potter films that are waiting to be translated into figure form, and here are my top ten most wanted! (Image Source) (Note: a complementary line producing the creatures from the world is also happening, with Buckbeak and a dementor coming first. To see my list chronicling the creature

Top 5 most wanted NECA ultimate Gremlins (1984) figures

Image
NECA has roped me in hook line and sinker when it comes to their new line of Gremlins figures based on the first film. While I figure their Gremlins line never actually stopped, it really slowed down for the last few years with only one figure or so a year. It seems like the line is ramping back up again though, as within only the past couple months ultimate figures for the generic Gremlin, Gamer Gremlin, and Stripe were all released, with NECA teasing more later this year! My army of little green monsters is steadily growing, and it wasn't until now that I realized that almost all of their past offerings have been from the second film! While I hope for that film to one day be revisited as well, the current focus on the 1984 film has got me wondering which of the dark creatures I would want next and there are a lot of them. I've narrowed them down to five entries, so here are my most wanted NECA Gremlins figures from the first film! (Image Source) 5. Accessory pack Thi

Wanted Mega Construx Kanto Pokemon First Evolutions vol 2

Image
I feel as though it is a testament to Mega Construx's focus on the Kanto region when over half of my previous list detailing the top 10 first evolution Kanto Pokemon that I wanted to see in the line have been revealed or released. Slowpoke, Jigglypuff, Sandshrew, Vulpix, Omanyte, and Clefairy have all made it out of the most wanted list and into the line. None of my other lists have had so many entries get marked off so quickly, with only a couple months having passed from the first list, leading me to get to work already on a second list with added entries to fill in the gaps of those that have made it to production. So with the expectation that several of the Pokemon on this new list will be marked off by the end of the year, here are the top 10 Kanto first evolution Pokemon that I want to see in the Mega Construx Pokemon line! The Flash S05 EP17 spoiler review

Image
(Flash's first female big bad, and the first time they've switched big bads in a season!) The Flash really delivered a big episode on tuesday, with several major things happening with some surprising turns taken in the episode that I didn't expect the episode to take! (Image Source) First off, the episode started with Nora freaking out and asking Thawne what to do about the new Cicada. Thawne revealed that he had no idea what to do and implored her to tell her father. She spent the brunt of the episod debating whether or not to actually do it. She finally made up her mind though as they went through the main plot of the episode, protecting a mom from Cicada. It turned out that the woman that Grace was going after had accidentally caused an ATM machine to explode, which resulted in the death of Grace's parents. I was glad that they finally brought in the metahuman that had killed her parents, since I though the show wasn't going to mention it at this point.

Top 10 most wanted Transformers Studio Series figures vol 2

Image
Last year, following my list of the top ten Studio Series figures I thought were most likely, I posted a list of the top ten Studio Series figures that I most wanted to see made. To keep the one year celebration of this blog going, I'll be looking at my current most wanted from the line compared to last year's line up, and how things changed! From the previous list, Crankcase was shown (which ended up being a huge let down), we got the confirmation of every Constructicon coming in the future which confirmed Scrapper, Hightower, and Overload; and Bonecrusher has been made and released, with an awesome figure. There's a fair amount of new bots on the list this time, so I'll waste no more time and get into things. (Image Source) Previous top 10 list can be seen here: Top 10 most wanted Transformers Studio Series figures Honorable mention- Modern Camaro Bumblebee I'm a bit tired of Bumblebee in this line already since we've gotten so many figures for hi
