SDCC 2025 has come and gone with  numerous reveals from toy companies going as hard as ever. With reveals from Hasbro, Mcfarlane, Jada Toys, and more it was truly a show like no other and one of the most exciting in recent years. So with the excitement of the weekend having passed and all the reveals out on the board, these are my top favorite SDCC reveals for the 2025 convention season!! Mcfarlane JSA and Earth 2 (Images Source) Mcfarlane's line up of DC Multiverse reveals wasn't as vast as it has been in previous showings; however, that could very well be related to the approaching end of the line. Regardless, they still had several very exciting figures shown off including a classic Scarecrow, the more classic Static Shock fans have wanted, and for me the biggest were the newest JSA members in Dr. Midnite and Starman! With season 5 of the Multiversus videogame right around the corner and more characters set to debut I wanted to talk about a couple random ideas I had for season themes, the characters that it could bring, as well as several characters I'm really hoping to see added to the game at some point! Pretty much all of these will be new properties to the game which I think are always the most exciting characters to see added, and without further ado, let's get started! (Images Source) Who Let the Dogs Out - Courage and Scooby Doo It strikes me every time I think about how the Scooby Doo franchise is part of the videogame with two different characters at launch but the title character of that series isn't included! He could even have some kind of gimmick like Jerry or B-MO to have Scrappy join the fray with him. While Super7 has been gifting Kaiju fans with a lot of greatness when it comes to the Toho films in the Godzilla universe (still cannot wait to get Destoroyah and Melting Godzilla), it seems that Hiya Toys has picked up the reigns of pumping out the Legendary universe Godzilla/Kong figures to represent that side of the franchise. Hiya recently revealed a Heisei era Godzilla of their own; however, their realm continues to predominantly be the American films and they've put out a lot of great figures already with their own Godzilla and Kong, not to mention the upcoming female Muto, and recently released Skull Devil! With Godzilla x Kong on the horizon, and reveals for that movie already coming through, this list will be my top 5 most wanted Godzilla/Kong figures from Hiya Toys! Making a splash is Warner Bros own attempt at a Super Smash Bros title and I'm really excited to get my hands on it to play! Multiversus looks like a ton of fun so far with an incredibly diverse cast of characters from across Warner Bros' film archive with promises of plenty more to come! With choices ranging from Superman to Shaggy to Arya Stark, it is clear that Multiversus is digging into whatever Warner Bros content they can find and I've got a few particular favorites I hope to see next! Godzilla and King Kong While I haven't been able to find any gameplay yet to see how he will actually work in the game, I am pumped to see the Iron Giant and with the recent media buzz Godzilla and King Kong have been getting from the Monsterverse I'd be surprised not to see them added to the roster in the game as fellow humongous characters. Neca made a surprising but very welcome reveal recently of a 7 inch scale King Kong based on what seems to be an amalgamation of many different takes on King Kong! It looks fantastic, and it has got me hoping that Neca will venture into the King Kong franchise just like they've done for the Godzilla series! While not as expansive, there have still been several movies in King Kong's name with many different designs given to the giant gorilla. These are the 5 I hope to get next!
