(Images Source) After taking a look at what 2 inch Kanto Pokemon I want in Jazwares Battle Pokemon line, the next generation up will be Johto, who has enjoyed a nice reaping of Pokemon from this follow up region, including Wooper and Marill as pictured above. These two are amongst my two favorites from this region, but the upcoming five are five I feel are very deserving for the line as well! With hundreds of Pokemon already checked off, and hundreds more to go, these are my top 5 most wanted 2 inch scale Pokemon from Jazwares! 5. Corsola I think that in Jazwares figure form this Pokemon could be really interesting with its multiple prongs all along its body. It would definitely set it apart from other Pokemon in the series, while also adding another water type to the line which so far I feel are underrepresented. (Image Source) 4. (Image Source) The Mandalorian and Grogu has finally premiered and it brought with it a whole second wave of figures to flesh out the cast of the film for Hasbro's 6 inch Black Series line. We've gotten big characters like Embo and Zeb who were missing from the first wave, not to mention army builders like the remnant Snowtroopers and a Mercenary Droid which I was both hoping to see developed into figures in the line! Having seen the film for myself I know there are several more designs that would make for amazing action figures from a film filled to the brim with alien and droid designs!  5. Hugo Durant (Image Source) Rio was one of my favorite parts of the Solo movie, so seeing another of his species appear it was a ton of fun, now as a food truck chef who serves Mando with information throughout the film. Jurassic World came back hard with Rebirth, one of my favorite films in the franchise and one that brought a hefty load of fun dinosaur scenes to reinvigorate the series with! The Hammond Collection was firing on all cylinders as well, topping last year's offerings of the Therizinosaurus and Giganotosaurus with some of the very best dinos released in the line thus far, beating out all the competition from the mainline, and to kick off my 2025 figure retrospective I've compiled my top 5 personal favorite Jurassic World figures from Mattel in this list! (Banner Images Source) The videogame side of the Star Wars universe has continued to have a large foothold in the 6 inch scale Black Series action figure line from Hasbro, delving into more and more new sculpts as opposed to the original repaint exclusive Gaming Greats line. Kyle Katarn is up for release in the next few months, and over the past few years we've received lots of iconic videogame characters like Malgus, Malak, Starkiller, the Republic Commandoes, as well as numerous grunts from Jedi Order and Survivor, not to mention other newer gaming characters like Cal, Merrin, and even Turgle! It has me hopefully that we will see more and more videogame characters entering the line in 2026, with quite a few in my most wanted hopes! 5. (Images Source) The War for Cybertron game figures in Hasbro's Transformers Studio Series line have been admittedly hit or miss in terms of quality. Some like Optimus and Sideswipe are very well rounded, whereas others like Barricade leave much to be desired. Overall I am happy to see this sublime of the series continue, and we've gotten lots of characters from this first game I was hoping to see such as the Seekers, Megatron, and Bee. While finishing the 86' movie seems to be a priority at the moment, I hope War for Cybertron isn't left to the wayside as these are five more figures I'd appreciate updates for in modern times!  5. Zeta Prime I say "updates" but in the case of Zeta Prime there is no prior figures to update on! This is where Studio Series really shines, taking it's original mission statement into account by producing figures for characters who have never had such. The Platinum releases have offered lots of great smaller scale villains, whereas the mainline has also given us fan favorite villains like Darkseid, Doomsday, General Zod, and now members of The Rogues with Boomerang and now Captain Cold! With villains looking to be a staple in the line, these are my next batch of most wanted comic book villains from the toyline! Honorable mention: Inertia and New 52 Joker Inertia ranks amongst my top favorite speedster villains from The Flash comics, and he would be extremely easy for Mcfarlane to get into the line with the existing Impulse retool of the Future State Superman mold.
