Top 5 most wanted Jakks Pacific Sonic the Hedgehog figures vol 4

Image
Jakks Pacific's Sonic the Hedgehog line has been heavy with the constant repacks; however, each wave still brings to the line something new, and in recent cases we have gotten some truly obscure characters! Big time names like Blaze and Cream have been checked off, with a personal favorite of mine being Jet the Hawk also getting an updated figure! Not to mention Nack the Weasel getting what may be his first official general release figure, ever! At this point it is seeming as though any characters from the series could be possible for the line, and this list will cover a few more I hope to see down the road! (Images Source) 5. Tikal Sonic Adventure got quite the focus in the line not long ago with Big and Chaos being added to the line up, and another character from that iconic Sonic adventure that'd be great in the line would be Tikal the Echidna. The line has been doing a lot better in terms of its female character inclusion, and Tikal would be another step towards balancing o

Top 5 wanted Star Wars prequel-era Micro Galaxy Squadron ships vol 2

Image
(Image Source) I had always seen myself as an action figure collector, but when Jazwares came out with the announcement that they were making a roughly in-scale toyline of Star Wars ships and vehicles they had me hooked. Not only that, but the line has a broad range beyond just the original trilogy, and there's been a strong presence by the prequel trilogy which is my bread and butter in the Star Wars franchise. Already we've gotten SO many awesome designs from the first three chronological films in the series, and some of my top wants too with Grevious' wheel bike, Pod racers, the Naboo Starfighter, as well as a couple different Separatist units! I'm hoping for even more though as they celebrate The Phantom Menace this year (such an awesome looking Gungan Submarine is coming too!) and these will be my next 5 most wanted Micro Galaxy Squadron Prequel-era Star Wars ship.  (Following Images Source - unless otherwise stated) 5. Dooku's solar sailer Seen in the tail hal

Top 5 most wanted GI Joe Classified figures vol 6

Image
GI Joe's Classified line from Hasbro has only continued to ramp up, putting out some of the best action figures on the market at the moment and the cast of the universe has expanded greatly on the shelf. It seems like the team at Hasbro are barreling through their list of characters to do, and the brand is bigger now than ever thanks to the Skybound Comics' excellent new runs for the GI Joe universe and characters. While a lot of my biggest wants have only been confirmed in name only (hopefully with prototypes soon to be revealed) we know we're getting Alpine, Raptor, Blowtorch, and Road Pig! With this only the tip of the iceberg for this year, I've got a new list of my top 5 most wanted GI Joe 6 inch scale figures I hope to see soon! (Images Source) Honorable mention: Wild Weasel With characters like Joe's Airborne being added into the line, it would make sense for Cobra to get more of their aerial combat troops as well (I LOVE the Trubble Bubble); however, I'm

Top 12 Favorite Movies of 2023

Image
We're almost knee deep into 2024, so I figure it is just about time for me to go into my top movie list of 2023. I haven't seen everything that came out last year, but I saw most of the movies that were on my immediate radar (along with some surprises recommended by fans) and at this point in time this is how my ranking for films of last year has turned out. When putting together the list I realized I had added two extra movies making this a "Top 12" as opposed to a "Top 10" list; however, it gives me more of a chance to talk about more films. I haven't put numerical listings beside the titles, just because it was hard to put them in a general order and things are still fluid with what I think was "better" than others. I enjoyed all of these movies immensely, for various reasons, so take this list as less of a ranking, and more of a collective favorite 12 movies from 2023.  (Images Source unless otherwise stated) Beau is Afraid An absolute ride

Top 5 most wanted McFarlane DC Multiverse Superman villains vol 2

Image
(Banner Images Source)   (Following Images Source) Superman's rogues gallery has enjoyed quite the representation in Mcfarlane's line of action figures, especially last year for Big Blue's anniversary. More obscure villains like Atomic Skull got into the lime light, and throughout the line's run we've gotten iconic villains like Lex Luthor, Doomsday, General Zod, and a couple Brainiacs into the set up. The world's first superhero still has plenty of antagonists who haven't been checked off my Mcfarlane so far, and these would be my next top 5 most wanted! 5. Manchester Black With some epic storylines such as Ending Battle and Black Dawn, Manchester Black has been a formidable villain to the Man of Steel over the years, with telepathic powers that completely negate the physical prowess of Superman's specialty. The British flag on his shirt (or chest in the case of the New 52) is the most iconic feature of the character's design, and just like Atomic

Top 5 wanted Hiya Toys Godzilla/Kong figures

Image
While Super7 has been gifting Kaiju fans with a lot of greatness when it comes to the Toho films in the Godzilla universe (still cannot wait to get Destoroyah and Melting Godzilla), it seems that Hiya Toys has picked up the reigns of pumping out the Legendary universe Godzilla/Kong figures to represent that side of the franchise. Hiya recently revealed a Heisei era Godzilla of their own; however, their realm continues to predominantly be the American films and they've put out a lot of great figures already with their own Godzilla and Kong, not to mention the upcoming female Muto, and recently released Skull Devil! With Godzilla x Kong on the horizon, and reveals for that movie already coming through, this list will be my top 5 most wanted Godzilla/Kong figures from Hiya Toys! (Images Source) Honorable mention: Power glove Kong Hiya Toys first hit us with pretty standards versions of Kong and Godzilla for the new movie before turning around and revealing the pink spined Godzilla we&

Top 5 wanted Tamashii Nations S.H.Figuarts One Piece Sky Island saga figures

Image
(Images Source) After the East Blue and Baroque Works sagas of One Piece, the show entered its next big storyline which involved the exploration of the Sky Islands and the fight to stop a mad man from dropping Skypiea back into the ocean. It housed some of the coolest fights from amongst the series up to this point, and gave plenty of the characters great moments to shine! With Tamashii Nations going back already and doing the East Blue versions of Nami and Luffy, I hope to see more characters from this classic era of One Piece, including the top 5 I will talk about next on this list! 5. Masira and Shoujou Introduced early on in the saga are the monkey pirates, Masira and Shoujou who are very entertaining villains to start off with, and eventually become quirky allies in the fight against Bellamy and the eventual trek to Skypiea. From a prominance standpoint, there are plenty more characters I expect to see before these two, but if the line ever goes deep enough it'd be fun to have
