Top 5 Favorite Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron ships of 2025

Image
The next toyline I will be looking at for my 2025 retrospective will be the Micro Galaxy Squadron line from Jazwares representing a relatively in-scale line of vehicles from the Star Wars universe. In some ways I feel like this line has slowed since the original booming start of the line; however, I more chalk that up to the line settling in as a constant shelf presence. I will be looking forward to see how the line continues to evolve in 2026, but for now these are my top five favorite vehicles we got in 2025! (Images Source) 5. Tie Striker Rogue One has been steadily getting some love from the line and that definitely escalated this year with the release of the Tie Striker (and another vehicle I'll discuss down the list). The design of the Tie Striker is another unique one for the Tie line and one I was very excited to get with its elongated cockpit and the very angular and aggressive looking orientation of its wings. My only qualm is the thickness of the wings themselves, which ...

Top 5 wanted Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron Tie Fighters vol 2

Image
(Banner Image Source)   (Following Images Source) The Tie series of starfighters from the Star Wars universe have been continuing to be a large part of the Micro Galaxy Squadron line by Jazwares. As iconic as these ships are it is unsurprising to see so many of them put out, with easily recognizable ones like the original trilogy Tie Bomber and more modern renditions like Kylo Ren's Silencer and Whisper, not to mention recent reveals like the bombdiggity Striker and Defender! So with so many Tie Fighters having been released to this point I have tee'd up a new list of Tie Fighters I hope to see in this ever growing line! Honorable Mention: Tie Crawler and Tie Shuttle A couple of honorable mentions I wanted to mention includes the wild looking Tie Crawler from Legends material. We are so used to air based Tie Fighters so seeing a ground based Tie is almost unrecognizable, but the typical cockpit design still makes it known where it stands in the Galactic conquest. The other hono...

Top 5 Favorite Jazwares Micro Galaxy Squadron ships of 2024

Image
Jazwares' Micro Galaxy Squadron line of Star Wars ships continued in 2024 with lots of great ships and designs from the Star Wars universe being checked off from all across the saga, and with 2025 well under way this will be my ranking of my top 5 favorite Micro Galaxy Squadron releases of last year.  (Images Source) 5. B-Wing An early release of the year was the B-Wing which was a lot of fun to mess around with. With wings that could be articulated and a completely rotatable cockpit this ship has plenty of features to play with making it a good hands-on ship in the line.  4. U-Wing Rogue One is one of my favorite Star Wars films in the series and the release of the U-Wing was a wonderful first entry into that film for the spinoff film. It comes with plenty of play features making it a playset all its own with multiple inner rooms, sliding panels for entry, and posable wings that captures the ship's flight and landing modes.  3. Gungan Sub While it does not possess as man...

Top 5 wanted Star Wars prequel-era Micro Galaxy Squadron ships vol 2

Image
(Image Source) I had always seen myself as an action figure collector, but when Jazwares came out with the announcement that they were making a roughly in-scale toyline of Star Wars ships and vehicles they had me hooked. Not only that, but the line has a broad range beyond just the original trilogy, and there's been a strong presence by the prequel trilogy which is my bread and butter in the Star Wars franchise. Already we've gotten SO many awesome designs from the first three chronological films in the series, and some of my top wants too with Grevious' wheel bike, Pod racers, the Naboo Starfighter, as well as a couple different Separatist units! I'm hoping for even more though as they celebrate The Phantom Menace this year (such an awesome looking Gungan Submarine is coming too!) and these will be my next 5 most wanted Micro Galaxy Squadron Prequel-era Star Wars ship.  (Following Images Source - unless otherwise stated) 5. Dooku's solar sailer Seen in the tail hal...

Top 5 favorite Jazwares Micro Galaxy Squadron ships of 2023

Image
2022 introduced me to one of my new favorite toylines out there, being the Jazwares Micro Galaxy Squadron figures! A roughly in-scale toyline of Star Wars vehicles and ships that captures all the details of these iconic and awesome vehicles from across the Star Wars universe! I was already extremely impressed with the line's first year offerings, but the second year kicked things up a notch with even more vehicles from across the series' timeline, and some of the best ships to be released so far! I had a hard time narrowing down this list, with ships like the Snowspeeder, Jedi Interceptors, and Tie Bomber all being inched out of the race, and these remaining five are what I'd rank as my top favorite Micro Galaxy Squadron ships of 2023! 5. V-wing (Image Source) I will always be a sucker for anything from the prequel trilogy, as it is what I grew up with (and find to be much more hated than it deserves), and the V-Wing fighter is a great representation of this arrow-nosed fig...

Favorite action figures reveals from SDCC 2023

Image
2023's San Diego Comic con has come and gone, supplying us with a load of awesome new action figure reveals to enjoy from pretty much every major toyline from major toy companies ranging from Hasbro to Mattel to Jazwares! Many of my major toylines that I collect were well represented, with some very exciting news and reveals granted for lines such as Star Wars Black Series and Mcfarlane's DC Multiverse! With time having passed to fully digest everything that was revealed, and make sure I'm not missing anything, I've put together my list talking about my favorite toy reveals from 2023's show! Masterverse Mekaneck (Image Source) As a child I didn't have a ton of exposure to Masters of the Universe, but one character I distinctly remember for some reason was Mekaneck. I'd even go as far as to stretch my neck out pretending to be him on while hanging out with my friends. Mattel has revealed that they're bringing him into the Masterverse line, which is a blas...

Top 5 wanted Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron ships from the original trilogy vol 2

Image
(Image Source) Jazwares' Micro Galaxy Squadron has been firing on all cylinders and giving us some incredible representations of vehicles across the Star Wars franchise! It has easily become one of my favorite toylines to date, and their presence at Star Wars Celebration floored me with some absolutely incredible reveals! Long time original trilogy wants for the line have been checked off like the Y-Wing bomber, the Snowspeeder, Luke's Landspeeder, as well as an epic looking AT-AT! Not to mention so many other ships from the original trilogy like the Tie Interceptor and Bomber, so the list of ships left to do from those original three iconic films is dwindling; however, there's still a few more to go through so with the future of the line looking bright here is my volume 2 of most wanted ships from the Star Wars original trilogy! 5. Live creatures (Image 1 Source)   (Image 2 Source) Coming in the last slot simply because I'm not sure if the line would do them: the live ...
