I have officially jumped into Jazwares/Wicked Cool Toys' Pokemon toyline. It has gone very extensively into the Pokemon roster highlighting both fan favorites as well as more obscure choices from the Pokemon world, with every region represented! This toyline is certainly one of the more affordable ways to build out your Pokemon display here in the US, and with the breadth of product released and all of the figures yet to be released (Paras and Golett are looking good!) it has me infinitely excited to have a dedicated Pokemon display! Kanto will always be the bread and butter of any Pokemon line, so I am starting with Kanto and the 2 inch line of battle figures that feature the smaller 'Mons of the Pocket Monster world, and which of those smaller Pokemon from the first region of the series I want most! (Banner Images Source)   (Following Images Source) Blokees line of Pokemon figures aren't just relegated to the smaller scale Pokemon, but we have been seeing a constant stream of larger scale Pokemon produced as well in each wave. I have been loving what I've been seeing with all the model kits thus far being very faithful recreations of the game designs with exciting effect pieces and in some cases even swappable parts like Snorlax's multiple face options! With wave 3 of the Classic Version-S figures just revealed I am wagering it won't be long until the "Fever Attack" wave reveals its Classic Version-L set of four model kits, and with Kanto being undoubtedly the most popular region out there for Pokemon I'm highlighting it first for my top five most wanted Blokees Classic Version-L model kits!   5. Kanto continues to be a major source of inspiration for Mega Construx's line of buildable Pokemon sets and the popularity of that original iteration of the game series makes that no surprise. We've gotten so many great Pokemon and designs from that original region made in the line since my initial list talking about this subject, like Vaporean, Clefairy, Lickitung, Venusaur, and Lapras! I feel like its been forever since I wrote about Mega Construx's line of buildable Pokemon sets but at the same time I feel like product for this line has been very scarce this year. It could be because of Covid, or the emphasis on Halo, but I'm missing that constant stream of Pokemon we used to get and every new release gets me excited. From my previous list where I discussed what sets would be most likely to be coming out soon, I was right on the counts of getting other region's starter Pokemon, Greninja, Raichu, Kanto "non evolvers" like Scyther, Electabuzz, and Mr Mime, Eevee's evolutions, and Detective Pikachu based sets. After playing through Lets Go on the Switch, Sword and Shield were the first true Pokemon games to come out on the Swith and I really enjoyed playing through the whole time! The graphics took a definite upgrade, and I really loved the Wilds which is the closest we have had to an open world Pokemon game. Pokemon's Mega Construx sets have been steadily releasing for the past couple of years and this year saw a big focus on the Detective Pikachu movie that came out earlier in the year.
