Top 5 wanted Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron Tie Fighters vol 2

The Tie series of starfighters from the Star Wars universe have been continuing to be a large part of the Micro Galaxy Squadron line by Jazwares. As iconic as these ships are it is unsurprising to see so many of them put out, with easily recognizable ones like the original trilogy Tie Bomber and more modern renditions like Kylo Ren's Silencer and Whisper, not to mention recent reveals like the bombdiggity Striker and Defender! So with so many Tie Fighters having been released to this point I have tee'd up a new list of Tie Fighters I hope to see in this ever growing line!

Honorable Mention: Tie Crawler and Tie Shuttle

A couple of honorable mentions I wanted to mention includes the wild looking Tie Crawler from Legends material. We are so used to air based Tie Fighters so seeing a ground based Tie is almost unrecognizable, but the typical cockpit design still makes it known where it stands in the Galactic conquest. The other honorable mention is going to be the Tie Shuttle, a very similar looking  vessel to the Bomber; however, the outward facing wings help differentiate it from other Tie Fighters.

5. Tie Phantom

Starting off the list proper is going to be another Legends vessel. The Tie Phantom is a striking looking ship that is wholly unlike any of the Tie Fighters we have gotten to this point in the line. The pointed wings, the more cylindrical cockpit, all of this comes together for what would be an incredible Legends ship for the line.

4. Tie Punisher

While not having into live action media appearances, the Tie Punisher is a brutal looking Tie Fighter that feels similar to the longer curved wings of the Bomber but the multitude of pods making up its cockpit arrangement really makes it stand out and make it more of a scarier sight to see in the galactic sky.

3. Tie Avenger

One of the most recent additions to Star Wars canon has been the Tie Avenger seen in the second season of Andor. Its more aggressive and pointed wing design is something I'm a huge fan of, like a Tie Striker on steroids, along with a stack of missiles affixed to the inner wings. Andor has really not had a lot of representation in the toyline to this point, and the Tie Avenger would be a great one to throw in.

2. Tie Brute

Just like Andor, Solo is another part of the Star Wars universe that hasn't seen a lot of figures released to represent it in the toyline. I am frankly shocked we haven't gotten a Solo variation of the Millenium Falcon, not to mention the Corellia speeders, or the Empire's Walkers seen on Mimban. To this point the Patrol Trooper's Speeder is the only thing I can think of that we've gotten, which is crazy. An easy one to throw into the line would be the Tie Brute, yet another Tie Fighter variation that skews very closely to the original design albeit with a heavy duty gunner's turret.

1. Tie Dagger

Pretty much the only Tie Fighter left over from my previous version of this list, the Tie Dagger is one of the sequel trilogy ships that I really liked as it was something more new and different from what came before. The wings of the Tie Fighter ships are something more or less similar between all variations of the vessels; however, the Dagger is very unique with its triangular tipped wings giving it a much more angular and vicious looking attack orientation.
