Exceptionally articulation and paint, along with a plethora of accessories, and for a price point I stomach better nowadays since I've began collecting higher price point lines like S.H.Figuarts. Fondjoy's DC Comics line of movie action figures so far seen to be fantastic, with a few looking wonky here and there (specifically headsculpts for Henry Cavill and Heath Ledger) but their newest figures look perfect and I can't wait for the few that I've ordered so far to come in! The Injustice game universe is one of the most compelling Elseworld stories in DC's comic line and while we're still waiting for a third game in the series Mcfarlane has been steadily giving us characters from this bleak universe! We got Flash and Grodd as our first two figures off the roster, followed by a few more including Reverse Flash who is one of my favorite Speedster designs, and finally an Injustice Batman in the most recent Page Punchers line up. There's still plenty of characters and designs to be tapped into though, with Supergirl seeming like the next one in line with her appearance on the cover of the Page Punchers comic and Mcfarlane typically making everyone on the covers. Mcfarlane has of late has been powering through the introduction of new characters to their line of DC action figures! I'm so thrilled to see them better fill out the ranks of these incredible, varied, and popular characters, and as the line has also entirely embraced the idea of the Multiverse I'm already thinking about what alternate versions of these newer characters I want to see down the line! When the Batwoman tv show started I saw it as a prime time for the Batman villains from the comics to finally get a real resurgence in the Arrowverse. We had a few great interpretations from Arrow such as Ra's Al Ghul, Deadshot, and Firefly, and while Batwoman has mostly stuck to her own villains (as she is expected to) we have seen a few Batman rogues throughout the bat themed show. Joker's Daughter, Black Mask, and Cluemaster are just a few so far and this third season of the show is coming out swinging when it comes to the Bat villains! While it isn't technically the legacy versions of the characters, we're still getting them in a capacity which includes Mad Hatter who plagued the first episode of the season, with a new Killer Croc surfacing in episode 2, and another version of Mr. Freeze slated to appear as well. McFarlane had a good showing this past month with a ton of new figures for all of their lines, but the one I was most excited about was the continuation of their DC figure line and the characters that they're bringing to us in wave 2. In my original list of my most wanted videogame characters from the company's new line, I included the Batman: Dark Tomorrow Batman who we're basically getting with the blue, classic Batman variant of the Detective Comics 1000 Batman. I also included the Arkham versions of Batman and Joker who are both coming to us in the second wave of figures.  Thats three out of the original five I had on my mind so I thought of a new set of five to make up a new list, and here is my new list of DC videogame characters I'd like figures of! McFarlane has so far blown me away with their new line of DC action figures. I know the lay has its naysayers, but I honestly don't see the criticism and I think it is one of the best DC lines we've gotten in a long time. The sculpting is absolutely amazing on the figures, with each one being a totally new sculpt while past lines would constantly re-use and re-color figures. The articulation on most is well above what Mattel was giving us, and I love the diversity of aesthetics and characters that mirrors what Mattel's DC line was doing. The first wave consisted of 12 awesome figures, all from differing media, but for the first wave for the most part the line did focus on the main DC characters. We got three versions each of Batman and Superman for example, and I'm sure there will be more to come.
