The Flash S05 EP07 Spoiler Review

Image
(Notice who is missing from this scene? It starts with 'R' and ends with 'alph') Team Flash came back this week with their belated Thanksgiving episode with what I believe is their best episode this season as well as their most disappointing, but I'll get into that. The episode gave us a lot of valuable new information while pushing the story like this season has been great at doing, so there is a lot to unpack, and a lot to anticipate going into next episode! (Image Source) The main focus of the episode was the arrival of the Weather Witch, the daughter of season 1's Weather Wizard who is armed with weather controlling meta tech with a desire to see her dad dead. I was so excited to finally have Weather Wizard back on the show since he's been absent since season 2, but then he barely appears and doesn't do a thing for the whole episode. We see him in prison, Barry has a short conversation in the pipeline, and then we get a fake hologram

Top 5 wanted Mega Construx Pokemon Kanto Evolutions

Image
I've gone over my most wanted Kanto pre-evolutions from Mega Construx's Pokemon line, but now I'll be looking into the further evolutions of Kanto Pokemon that I want to see. With Kanto being their main focus, and several Kanto evolutions already popping up in the line, it is safe to say that Kanto evolutions will continue to be prominent and present in this line, and to go along with that I have my top five most wanted ready to go. 5. Omastar and Kabutops I mentioned before how much I love the fossil Pokemon, and that goes for the original two fossil Pokemon evolutions as well. Omastar's shell and tentacles would be a feat for Mega Construx to design, while Kabutops would be a little easier I feel; however, I have no doubt that both would come out looking great. Preferably, an evolution set akin to the Snorlax/Munchlax set would be my choice for how to do the fossil Pokemon but as long as I get them, I don't care how they come. (Image 1 Source)   (Image So

The Flash S05 EP06 Spoiler Review

(Their reunion certainly wasn't as warm as Caitlin was hoping) I honestly think this is one of the fastest storylines that Flash has burned through in the beginning of one of their seasons! I'm probably wrong about that, but it just feels a bit different to have a storyline that moves so fast, and while the episode had its fair amount of weak points, the main story was one that they had been building too with the first five episodes and paid off with this week's. So this'll be my review of this week's episode of the Flash, entitled: "The Icicle Cometh." (Image Source) To start things off, I will cover the side story with Ralph and Cecile as I felt like it was one of the less-good parts of the episode by a long shot. It was a bit cartoony and sitcom-ish with Cecile trying to find her intimidating side, but two things did come out of it in the end. The discovered that a young girl had been struck by the satelite on the night of the Enlightenment

Top 5 most wanted Star Wars spinoff Black Series figures

Image
I'm fairly certain that I've mentioned before how much I love the new Star Wars spinoff films. Both Solo and especially Rogue One easily became some of my most favorite of the franchise with a great cast of characters and an interesting story that added to the galaxy and built out the mythos of the films. Of course, with these movies came Black Series figures and as always there are ones that I want to see made that haven't been produced as of yet, and so that will be the topic of my discussion today. Continue forward for the five Black Series figures I want most from the two Star Wars spinoff films! (Image Source) 5. Adult Qi'ra The figure that we ended up getting of Qi'ra in the movie was based around her younger design from her time on Corellia, and while it was a beautiful figure and came from one of my favorite scenes of the movie, it would be nice to have her later outfit in order to better fit her in with the rest of my display. The black skirt a

(Thanks to this guy, I'm gonna be forever scared of chimneys and big present boxes) Last nights episode introduced us to a creepy new villain while also progressing several storylines that have been running since the start of the season, and an addition cut scene was found on youtube that has me very excited for the future. (Image Source) This episode gave us a new villain in the form of Peter Merkel, or as Cisco called him: Ragdoll. A metahuman will the ability to contort, bend, and flatten his body without issue, he was portrayed as a straight up psychopath who only wanted to cause misery and suffering which set him after Barry and Iris after seeing them as husband and wife. His presence made for a very creepy episode with each of his scenes being disturbing; this episode would have definitely worked as the episode that aired before Halloween. The grotesque cracking of bones only worked to make his portrayal all the creepier while the villain spun his head around, crawle

Top 5 most wanted Transformers WFC Trilogy figures

Image
I've never been one to really go into the Generations line for Transformers toys. As a child I would but I fell away from it as the style of the toys seemed a bit cheaper, and my interests swayed more towards the live action movies, though G1 always has held a special place in my heart. That part of my heart lit up when I saw the War for Cybertron Siege line accounced and the Autobots revealed for it, all of them looking high quality and nearly identical to G1, with a fun gimmick in all of them being Cybertronian mode. I also really enjoyed the aspect of dirt and grime being added to the figures which really boosts the look of the figures themselves when compared to the past few Generation lines. Then at NYCC we had the reveal of the Decepticons and I was hooked, they looked even better, and Generations had my interest again. With a fresh new trilogy of toylines, the possibility for upcoming figures is spread wide, I've been thinking about the top five figures I would like to

Top 5 most wanted deluxe Star Wars Black Series figures

A few weeks ago at NYCC we had the reveal of the the Black Series 6 inch scale General Grevious, and with him we had the announcement of a new line of $30 Black Series figures for larger characters who don't fit into the $20 price point. For me, and I bet a lot of other collectors out there, this is awesome and will hopefully lead to several larger characters easily making their way into the line through this new outlet. There are several characters who could fit in this price point, and as always, I have my thoughts on who I want to see in figure form. This time, I'll be talking about the top five characters I want to see in Black Series' new $30 price point. (Images' Source) 5. Moroff First off is a character from Disney's era of Star Wars movies, being Moroff. An alien relegated to the background of Rogue One's Jedha scenes, Moroff was part of Saw's extremists and could be seen with the other members of the group, standing out as a huge, white

Top 5 most wanted Star Wars Black Series aliens

Image
I've talked before about how droids are an important part of the Star Wars world, but arguable aliens are even more so as they are even more abundant in every scene and storyline. Aliens are all over the place in Star Wars, they're in the cantinas, in the Pod races, the diners, the streets, the halls, they are all over the place and can't be missed. And just like the droids, aliens are criminally underrepresented in the Black Series line; however, that seems to be changing as of recently with figures like Moloch, Rio, Gammorean Guard, and Zuckuss coming out in a short span of each other. Hopefully this is not just a one time occurrence and aliens truly are being given the limelight in the Black Series like they deserve. Of course, with this possibility there are a few I'm itching to see. (Image Source) 5. Hammerhead Since I was a little kid I've always loved the hammerhead alien from the cantina. It has a unique, stand out design that just pops in my opini

(A lot of the photos the CW released for this episode were of the baseball game?) (Image Source) The Flash is back one more time before going on one of those dreaded breaks that it loves going on, but before it left for a week or two it gave another compelling episode that felt a bit slower than past episodes but still moved the story along and introduced several new points to think about. The biggest thing going on in the episode was the introduction of Spin, who is brainwashing people by way of her blog and sets out to have XS be the new speedster in town, ultimately trying to use XS to eliminate Barry. Between all this though, we got the revelation of why Nora is so cold to Iris, that being that Nora has only known about her powers for six months because she found out that her mother put a power dampening chip inside of her! It was a really well acted scene on Nora's part after their final encounter with Spin where Iris determined that she must have had a good reason f
