One of Mcfarlane's lines that went down before I started collecting toys was the Movie Maniacs line which seems to have been an outlet for all kinds of different movie figures without adhereing to one particular license. I love the concept of this line as possibly anything could pop up in the line, from Jason Voorhees to Shaft to Pumpkinhead, lots of oddball monsters and movie characters were assorted through the line. With the insane success of the Spawn kickstarter, Mcfarlane has discussed reviving some of his other lines and Movie Maniacs was one he mentioned specifically. I would love see what characters from this modern age Mcfarlane would choose for the line, and in particular here are 5 movie characters I'd love to see in a revived line. And just like that, I'm back doing a part three of my most wanted figures from this company. NECA has always been good at making fans dreams come true, and that remains a realistic expectation as many of the products I in particular wanted have been revealed lately. An Annabelle figure from the Conjuring movies is being produced, more Kenner Alien figures are on the way with the Rhino, and NECA has confirmed that the future will be chocked full of Gremlins. The only figure not on the list from last time who isn't being made is the Uber Jason from Jason X, due to NECA difficulty with the license and the freezing of their Jason line. Hopefully that can be sorted out soon because their Jason line was really ramping up and nearing conclusion. So heading forward, here is my new line up of my top 5 most wanted NECA products vol 3! I'm back doing a list of the figures I want most from the master of the horror figures, NECA. Each year they constantly astound fans with their figures, and this year is no different from the others, especially with several of the figures on my last most wanted list have been confirmed. The 2009 film version of Jason is receiving a figure, one of the Pennywise figures will include the painting woman's head with confirmation she will not receive her own figure, Gremlins 2 figures have been confirmed as a possibility if the Gremlins 1 figures sell well (Which they seem to be doing), and Godzilla enemies like Mothra and Rodan are being released in the KOTM line! I've given thought to some of the others figures I'd like to see them tackle, so lets get rolling. It is hard for me to believe that this blog has already hit it's 100th post! A lot has changed in my life over the past year, but this blog has been a constant thing for me to come to and work on. I like having this place to write down just random thoughts about random things I'm interested in. It helps me better reflect on tv shows when I write reviews of the episodes, it makes me more excited for movies by talking about what characters or such I want to see, and most of all it is a outlet for me to write about all manner of toy news and hopes. I've talked about several different lines on my blog, with action figures being the biggest focus of my posts, so I though the most appropriate theme for my 100th blog post would be listing off the toy lines that I wish were happening.
