Top 5 most wanted Blokees Galaxy Version G1 Transformers kits vol 2

Image
(Images Source) Blokees most recent wave of Galaxy Transformers model kits ended up giving me a lot of the figures I have been waiting for, rounding out the Coneheads with Thrust, rounding out the Insecticons with Bombshell, we got a killer Unicron planet mode, as well as Springer (one of my personal favorites), Trypticon to go along with Metroplex, as well as our first G1 female in Arcee! It was no doubt possibly the best wave of figures yet, especially regarding the newly implemented articulation and engineering. With Shining waves giving us Reflector, and the Defenders waves seemingly the place to get Combiners these days, I'm very much looking forward to and hoping that these five characters below will join the ever expanding line!  5. Cyclonus Thanks to a teaser on the wave 9 boxes we know that Galvatron will be coming in the next wave, seemingly continuing the trend that the recent waves have been very G1 movie based. I am all for that given how cool a lot of the new characte...

Top 5 most wanted Transformers Studio Series remastered figures

Image
(Images Source) It feels a little odd to think of a toyline "remastering" figures in the same vein as remastering films, but we've been seeing it as a growing trend whether it was the deceased Lightning Collection and their remastered Mighty Morphin figures, Black Series giving us updated versions of older figures such as Jango Fett and Revenge of the Sith Anakin, and now Studio Series with VW Bumblebee and AOE Grimlock receiving brand new figures in the line to improve upon their past releases. Both have been great examples of how a character can be improved with time and the just in figure technology, with Bee based less on concept art, and Grimlock being more in-line with the size we truly see in the film. With this in mind I've thought of a few characters from across Studio Series history that I wouldn't mind seeing redone as this film-based Transformers line continues.  Honorable Mention: Crankcase This is by far one of the biggest offenses in the Studio Seri...

Top 5 most likely Transformers Studio Series figures for 2026

Image
(Banner Image Source)   (Following Images Source) With SDCC dealing out the latest in news about the future of the Studio Series Transformers toyline by Hasbro things are looking more daring than ever! Product spanning out into 2026 has been granted to us, and what a host of reveals it was! A brand new G1 Seeker mold that is already confirmed to be used for both Skywarp and Starscream in the future. The TLK Nemesis Prime retool/repaint we were promised, as well as TLK Barricade and 86' Windcharger! The big talking point is no doubt the line's first ever Titan Class figure, one that rectifies a scale issue from the very start of the line and upgrades AOE Grimlock to the gargantuan size that fits his appearance in the film! I'm sure 2026 still has a myriad of amazing product we haven't seen yet, and in this post I'll break down my top guesses for what will be coming! 5. 86' Astrotrain With the Hasbro team stating their intention to finish out the 86' subline b...

Top 5 wanted Transformers Beast Wars 2 figures

Image
After finishing Car Robots, Beast Wars 2 was the next Japanese animated Transformers series I delved into. While it was only "2" in name with no major connections to the original Beast Wars aside from a cameo appearance during a movie special, Beast Wars 2 was still a ton of fun and a great addition to the beast side of the Transformers franchise. Hasbro has already given us several characters from the series with their recent focus on multiple Transformers series, with the principle hero Leo Convoy made in both his primary form and copy Nemesis Leo form, along with Tasmanian Kid as the wild younger brother of the heroes, and a few years back we did get an anime accurate color scheme set of Seacons following Power of the Primes. There's a whole cast of characters waiting to be made once again by Hasbro, and these are the top 5 I hope to see! (Images Source) Honorable mention: Megastorm The role of the backstabbing second in command of the villains in this series went to M...

Top 5 most wanted updated Hasbro Transformers Combiner figures

Image
(Images Source) More and more Combiners are returning to the modern day Transformers toylines, not only applying to the miraculous looking G1 Combiners such as the forthcoming Devastator and Superion, but also to smaller scale Combiners such as Commander class Magmatron, and the potential future of the Armada Optimus Prime's combinations. As a gimmick Combiners have always been one of the most popular and enticing features of Transformers, and I can't wait to see what Combining Transformers may be coming in the future to join what has already been revealed. As always, I've got my top five hopes for the future, and I'll lay them out here.  5. Mudflap and Skids As much controversy as these two characters made after their debut in the second film I am still surprised that all these years later they are absent from the Studio Series line after the amount of screen time they had and the memorable impact they made on fans. While their individual modes throughout most of the f...

Top 5 most wanted Transformers Studio Series Autobots vol 4

Image
(Images Source) Tagging along from my recent post talking about my latest most wanted Studio Series Decepticon figures I am now going to delve into the Autobot side of things. Hasbro's Transformers line has been running for several years now with dozens upon dozens of characters and designs under its belt and frankly putting together these lists is becoming more like lists of what characters are remaining to be made at this point! With each new movie release the list grows though, and recent additions like the War for Cybertron videogame as a source of figures means that Studio Series won't be losing steam anytime soon. With my previous big wants like G1 Brawn, Que, and Crosshairs finally brought to the line these next slots are where my sights are set next! Honorable mention: Windcharger and Ramhorn The G1 side of Studio Series is very nearly coming to a close as almost every character seen in that film has either been released in Studio Series proper or given accompanying G1 ...

Top 5 most likely Transformers Studio Series figures for 2025

Image
With 2024 halfway over at this point and Hasbro's Transformers Studio Series offerings seemingly revealed for throughout the rest of the year I figure it would be a good time to go ahead and lay out my biggest predictions for what the line will bring in 2025! I might be a bit early with this; however, SDCC is later this month and is known for large scale announcements and I wouldn't be surprised if a good look at the start of Studio Series 2025 was at least pipeline revealed for us! I got nearly every single guess of my 2024 list realized this year, and hopefully I'll have the same success rate for my guesses for 2025's most likely figure releases!  5. Que I'm hoping that next year will finally be the year we get Que updated in the line as the character is sorely in need of it. We've completed nearly the entirety of the Michael Bay character line up from the first three films in the series, with Que a huge absence when looking at the Dark of the Moon display. He...
