Top 5 wanted Dark Souls 3 bosses for Dark Souls the Board Game

Image
Finishing out my wish lists for what boss expansions I want to get in Steamforged Games Dark Souls the Board game I'm now taking a look at Dark Souls 3 which I'm my opinion has some of best and most iconic bosses from the whole franchise! Sadly, the Board Game hasn't quite taken advantage of this roster though as only two bosses from the game so far hail from the third and final game in the series; however, I hope that will change specifically with these 5 bosses! Champion Gundyr I really love the villains who design wise might not have a lot going on, but are absolutely insane to fight and still end up becoming memorable villains just for the difficulty you face trying to take them down! This is one of the areas that Champio...

Releases have been very slow for Steamforged Games Dark Souls the Board Game expansions ever since the game itself launched. But very soon they will finally catch up to their promised offerings from the initial kickstarter with Manus coming out midway through October, and then...we'll just have to wait and see what comes next! They've said in the past that they hope to continue the game and support it with new expansions, so while I've looked at the first game in the Dark Souls trilogy already, I'm moving on to the second game in the series with my top 5 most wanted Dark Souls 2 bosses in the board game! Something I haven't written about in a hot minute is the Steamforged Games Dark Souls the Board Game! I owe it to the lack of products released for it, but the recent influx of new expansions have got me hot on the game once more and I've been thinking about what characters and bosses from the videogame I would love to have in the board game going forward. This is on the assumption that the game will continue to have steady support, but at this point there's been no word really on the future of the game; however, I would love for it to continue to cover the Dark Souls universe! For this post, I will be focusing on the first game in the Dark Souls trilogy and the top 5 bosses from this first game I want to have as expansions in the board game! Ranking the Dark Souls the Board Game kickstarter exclusive expansions

This is a post that I'm definitely behind on getting out there, but just today I managed to play through the kickstarter exclusive expansions with my brother for the Dark Souls board game by Steamforged games. I haven't talked about the game in a while, but I really love it and I have a blast playing it. I know a lot of people turned away from the game because of how long it has taken the expansions to come out, but I know they're trickling out eventually and aren't cancelled or anything so I just focus on other stuff in the mean time. I was very excited to get my hands on the kickstarter exclusive expansions though when Steamforged was selling them on their online store during an event, since I found the game after it had been funded and there I couldn't get in on the kickstarter backer exclusive items. I managed to get them though, and after playing through them I can say that this is my ranking of the 3 different kickstarter exclusive expansion sets for Dark So...

Dark Souls the Board Game wave 2 expansions ranked

This is a bit of a late post considering it has been months since I received the second wave of expansions for the Dark Souls board game from Steamforged games, but I've wanted to do this for a while and finally got myself to sit down and write this post. I wasn't able to acquire the kickstarter exclusive expansions that came out, Old Iron King, Guardian Dragon, and Four Kings, who I hoped I would be able to get and play with but sadly they were too expensive on Ebay, so I'm only ranking the general release items of wave 2. I've had a blast playing with all of them, and they have me excited for the future of the game so let's talk about how much fun I had with each expansion piece. (Image Source) 4. Asylum demon As far as bosses in the game go, the Asylum demon is a pretty standard encounter with nothing too special and isn't too challenging, which is also how this expansions felt. While the model is of course beautiful, playing the boss fight didn'...

This is a bit of an odd duck of a post, as it pertains to a board game that I bet a lot of people don't know exists. Steamforged Games unleashed a highly popular kickstarter, and what has come from it is a game that I love playing and am so excited to be getting expansions and additional bosses in the next few months to make the game ever more expansive and replayable. Naturally, there were bosses not yet announced that I want to eventually face off against with my brothers; that is where this list comes in. Here will be the top 5 Dark Souls bosses that I want to be added to the Dark Souls Board Game. (Image Source) 5. Gwyn, Lord of Cinder At the finale of the first game in the series you are brought face to face with the fabled Gwyn, the Lord of Cinder and king of Anor Londo, who stands between you and the flame. What follows is an epic, fiery battle with orchestral music that lasts throughout the next three games, and with a boss who tests the player after all previou...
