While the Black Series line of Star Wars figures have made great strides in filling out some of their biggest holes in the collection, with such an expansive universe there are always going to be major characters and designs that are eagerly awaited by fans and with many of my previously listed biggest omissions finally being fulfilled, such as Dooku, Ewoks, and Bodhi Rook, I'm back around with a new assortment of characters I think are long overdue for the figure treatment. So here are the top 5 figures at this time that I think are the line's biggest omissions! While the movies in the Star Wars universe have begun to slow down, Hasbro's line of six inch Black Series figures based on the franchise only seems to be further growing as more and more fantastic figures are made in the line each year! While the original trilogy and the sequels seemed to dominate the line's focus for years, the line has finally gotten to a point where the entire franchise seems to share in what gets released, and I couldn't be happier for such variety! Some of my personal most wanted figures have happened as well, including Ackbar from ROTJ, Ewoks, the Mandalorian in his Beskar armor, Moff Gideon, Jar Jar, and more Rogue One figures with my most wanted figure for years, Bodhi Rook, finally getting his own Black Series figure! So with 2021 proving strong for collectors of the line, here is my vol 4 of my top 10 most wanted Star Wars the Black Series figure! Hasbro's Black Series line has made a big focus lately into their videogame department with their Gaming Greats line of Gamestop exclusive figures! They've all hailed from videogames from across Star Wars' history, and I coudln't be more happier for this media of the franchise to be getting a larger focus from the toyline! Many figures have been trooper types; however, we've gotten a Darth Nihilus which is incredible and I'm excited to see where the line goes next! One of my favorite games from the franchise has to be Republic Commando, with its focus on a hardcore group of Clone Commandos during the war with some impressive level design and fun characters. I've been talking about the Clone Wars a lot recently on this blog and that will continue as the Black Series line of Star Wars figures from Hasbro continues to give a lot of new love to the show that it definitely deserves. We've gotten Ahsoka, the Ahsoka Trooper, and Cad Bane all recently so I'm coming to back to my base post of my most wanted figures from all of Clone Wars and revising it for a part 2. Clones have been a major selling point for the Star Wars Black Series line from Hasbro and they've recently even introduced a new mold for these fan favorite characters to use for the years coming. We've gotten a few clone figures recently that clear out my previous list of most wanted clones from the Star Wars universe, with figures of Fox, Bly, and finally the Phase 1 lieutenant finally captured in 6 inch plastic form. So I'm back around to touch upon what clone soldiers I want to see made next in the line, and with their popularity as a group I wouldn't be surprised to see them made fairly soon. I knew that Hasbro would eventually delve into the Clone Wars like they were promising to do and they definitely did not disappoint with their slew of reveals recently! Each figure they revealed came from season 7 of the show as well which I love, especially those last four episodes and now we have the Mandalorian loyalist, the Mauldalorian, Ahsoka's loyalist troopers, and Ahsoka herself in the line based on those final four episodes! I'm hoping that the Clone Wars figure train doesn't end there and that Hasbro has more reveals from the show lined up for us in the coming months, and with so many figures from my previous season 7 focused list now a reality I'm returning to that stellar final season for my vol 2 of top 5 most wanted characters in the Black Series.
