Kanto continues to be a major source of inspiration for Mega Construx's line of buildable Pokemon sets and the popularity of that original iteration of the game series makes that no surprise. We've gotten so many great Pokemon and designs from that original region made in the line since my initial list talking about this subject, like Vaporean, Clefairy, Lickitung, Venusaur, and Lapras! With hopefully lots more coming down the pipeline in the future, here is my updated and revised list of my most wanted Kanto Pokemon in Mega Construx's buildable line! I feel like its been forever since I wrote about Mega Construx's line of buildable Pokemon sets but at the same time I feel like product for this line has been very scarce this year. It could be because of Covid, or the emphasis on Halo, but I'm missing that constant stream of Pokemon we used to get and every new release gets me excited. From my previous list where I discussed what sets would be most likely to be coming out soon, I was right on the counts of getting other region's starter Pokemon, Greninja, Raichu, Kanto "non evolvers" like Scyther, Electabuzz, and Mr Mime, Eevee's evolutions, and Detective Pikachu based sets. I've added some new choices to this updated list, dropped some who were left over on the first, and with the hopes that we'll get lots more Pokemon sets in the future here are the top 10 Pokemon Mega Construx sets I think I are most likely vol 2! And just like that, I've hit my 400th post on this blog! I keep saying this every time a one hundred mark gets hit and I'll say it again here but I find it insane that I've already written and published so much here. The tagline of my blog may include movies and books but at this point its pretty much just a toy blog, and to fully embrace that my 400th post will be looking into most of the major toylines I collect and my favorite figures from each of them! One of the most popular and integral parts of the Pokemon universe are the legendary Pokemon that are present throughout each game in the series. We're constantly introduced to interesting, and incredible new Pocket Monsters with every new installment and the legendary creatures are among the most anticipated. I've finally managed to finish my playthrough of Pokemon Sword and with it I have encountered all of the new Pokemon that Gamefreak made for us to enjoy in this latest outing of the Pokemon adventure. A couple of them I found underwhelming, but for the most part I really liked a lot of the new designs and new Pokemon that were brought to the table! Several of them definitely rank up as my favorite designs easily from the new region, and being me, I'm thinking already about the potential Mega Construx sets that could be made. Mega Construx has already revealed a Grookey figure, meaning that Galar is already on their sights with sets no doubt ready to release this year!
