Top 5 most wanted updated G1 Transformers figures vol 6

Image
(Images Source) With Powerglide, Outback, and Seapray amongst others now introduced into the modern day collecting era of Transformers, we're inching closer and closer to the fully fleshed out cast of the original G1 series. We're needling it down to some of the tertiary characters, but even they need figure support, and with 2026 well under way these are my top five most wanted G1 Transformers figures to this point. 5. Tailgate I will admit I really don't remember Tailgate at all, though that owes to his very scant appearances in the later portions of the show. Nonetheless, when talking about figues that still need to be made from the G1 series he is one that stands out as the final minibot needed to complete that iconic roster. With Swerve coming in hot (in a very red painted wave of figures) the stage is now set for Tailgate to follow suit, wrapping up the deluxe classed minibots fans have been eating up since Cliffjumper's release in WFC.  4. Broadside Designer inte...

Top 5 most wanted Blokees Galaxy Version G1 Transformers kits vol 2

Image
(Images Source) Blokees most recent wave of Galaxy Transformers model kits ended up giving me a lot of the figures I have been waiting for, rounding out the Coneheads with Thrust, rounding out the Insecticons with Bombshell, we got a killer Unicron planet mode, as well as Springer (one of my personal favorites), Trypticon to go along with Metroplex, as well as our first G1 female in Arcee! It was no doubt possibly the best wave of figures yet, especially regarding the newly implemented articulation and engineering. With Shining waves giving us Reflector, and the Defenders waves seemingly the place to get Combiners these days, I'm very much looking forward to and hoping that these five characters below will join the ever expanding line!  5. Cyclonus Thanks to a teaser on the wave 9 boxes we know that Galvatron will be coming in the next wave, seemingly continuing the trend that the recent waves have been very G1 movie based. I am all for that given how cool a lot of the new characte...

5 More Great Figures from 2025

Image
There are a few figure releases from 2025 that don't necessarily fit in to any of the lists I talked about before and are from toylines that don't necessitate their own ranking list. I still wanted to talk about them regardless as some of these figures would be amongst my overall top figures of the whole year, and some of the companies they hail from are ones I'll definitely be looking into more throughout 2026 and hope to see more of in general! In no particular order of ranking, here are five more absolutely fantastic figures from 2025 that I had to get mentioned! Blokees engineering improvements (Image Source) Something I jumped into this year was Blokees Galaxy line of Transformers model kits. Extremely fun little sets that make it affordable and easy to build out a G1 display fast, as well as a Transformers: One display, Shattered Glass display, and it seems like the future is only going to open up more of the Transformers franchise to this excellent series. With the r...

Top 5 most wanted Studio Series Transformers War for Cybertron videogame figures vol 2

Image
(Images Source) The War for Cybertron game figures in Hasbro's Transformers Studio Series line have been admittedly hit or miss in terms of quality. Some like Optimus and Sideswipe are very well rounded, whereas others like Barricade leave much to be desired. Overall I am happy to see this sublime of the series continue, and we've gotten lots of characters from this first game I was hoping to see such as the Seekers, Megatron, and Bee. While finishing the 86' movie seems to be a priority at the moment, I hope War for Cybertron isn't left to the wayside as these are five more figures I'd appreciate updates for in modern times!  5. Zeta Prime I say "updates" but in the case of Zeta Prime there is no prior figures to update on! This is where Studio Series really shines, taking it's original mission statement into account by producing figures for characters who have never had such. Zeta was a very cool personality in the game, providing a much more aggress...

Top 5 most wanted Blokees Galaxy Version G1 Transformers kits

Image
(Images Source) Blokees has definitely taken to the market in a big way with tons of Transformers fans loving these chibi-esque small easily assembled blind box model kits that have been getting better and better with each wave! The cast has expanded quickly, and they along with Yolopark are some of the best affordable non-transforming Transformers figures out there! They've got me hooked, and eagerly awaiting the reveal of their wave 10 of the Galaxy line. They've lately been alternating with the Transformers One film for their waves so it remains to be seen if wave 10 is another return to the One cast or a continuation of more G1 (or something else entirely!), but I've drawn up my most wanted Blokees Galaxy Version model kits based on the G1 continuity! 5. More Combiners Since the conclusion of the Constructicons we haven't had any more combiner teams introduced into the Galaxy line. Defender series has been pumping them out with Devastator and now Bruticus coming in ...

Top 5 most wanted Transformers Studio Series remastered figures

Image
(Images Source) It feels a little odd to think of a toyline "remastering" figures in the same vein as remastering films, but we've been seeing it as a growing trend whether it was the deceased Lightning Collection and their remastered Mighty Morphin figures, Black Series giving us updated versions of older figures such as Jango Fett and Revenge of the Sith Anakin, and now Studio Series with VW Bumblebee and AOE Grimlock receiving brand new figures in the line to improve upon their past releases. Both have been great examples of how a character can be improved with time and the just in figure technology, with Bee based less on concept art, and Grimlock being more in-line with the size we truly see in the film. With this in mind I've thought of a few characters from across Studio Series history that I wouldn't mind seeing redone as this film-based Transformers line continues.  Honorable Mention: Crankcase This is by far one of the biggest offenses in the Studio Seri...

Top Favorite Reveals from SDCC 2025

Image
SDCC 2025 has come and gone with  numerous reveals from toy companies going as hard as ever. With reveals from Hasbro, Mcfarlane, Jada Toys, and more it was truly a show like no other and one of the most exciting in recent years. So with the excitement of the weekend having passed and all the reveals out on the board, these are my top favorite SDCC reveals for the 2025 convention season!! Mcfarlane JSA and Earth 2 (Images Source) Mcfarlane's line up of DC Multiverse reveals wasn't as vast as it has been in previous showings; however, that could very well be related to the approaching end of the line. Regardless, they still had several very exciting figures shown off including a classic Scarecrow, the more classic Static Shock fans have wanted, and for me the biggest were the newest JSA members in Dr. Midnite and Starman! Along with them we're getting our newest entry into the slowly growing Earth-2 display, this time being Dick Grayson as Batman...a figure I have made a cus...
