One of the major things in the Dragon Ball franchise is the fact that characters take on different forms throughout the series and throughout the fights. Goku is notorious for this and the Dragon Stars line from Bandai has definitely emphasized on this with a Goku figure in nearly every wave, and a Vegeta pretty much in each of the others. Some of the other figures have received figures of their different forms already in the line, such as Frieza and Gohan, but there is still a whole series of forms to be made of characters already in the line, giving collectors plenty of chances to get these characters and each collector their chance to get their favorite version! One of the all time best things about Dragon Ball that keeps fans coming back is the great cast of villains that constantly plague our heroes. From foes like Frieza to Cell to Buu, Zamasu, and Jiren, the Dragon Ball world as supplied some of the best villains in anime history and Bandai's line of Dragon Ball figures have given us a lot of these villains over the course of the line's history! There are still plenty left to touch upon though, and in this list I'm digging through Dragon Ball history for the top 5 villains I'd like to get in the Dragon Stars series. Out of all of the Anime that I have watched in my life, one of my all time favorite shows has to be the Naruto franchise! I love all of the characters, the world that they build within the show, and the expansive, well thought out storylines that constatnyl evolve as new things are revealed. An affordable, long line of Naruto figures akin to Marvel Legends is something I've been hoping for for a while, and while McFarlane's attempts to cover the series seemingly putter out after a single Naruto figure, Bandai has taken up the reigns in their Anime Heroes line and given us four characters already! While I would prefer Naruto to have its own line like Dragon Stars, getting regular figures in the Anime Heroes line will have to suffice, and I'm so excited to potentially fill out a Naruto display in the future! This is a line that I don't think as been officially announced, but a few figures from it have popped up online so the reveal must be imminent. It seems that Bandai, who is producing the Dragon Stars series of Dragon Ball figures, is going to be releasing a line that collectively will cover several different anime shows! Three figures each from Naruto, Saint Seiya, and My Hero Academia have been shown off already, and they look to be of the quality of the Dragon Ball figures so I'm excited! I'm also excited about what other shows could possibly find representation in this line as a mainstream collectible line whereas some shows might not be popular enough her to warrant their own toyline! Bandai's line of Dragon Ball figures has finally started to branch outside of rereleases of Goku and Vegeta meaning that this year was chock full of a lot of great new molds and new characters to choose from for my top 5 list for this line! My brother and I recently picked up the Godzilla card game by Chrono Clash and Bandai, and have found it very fun to play! The mechanics of the game are easy to pick up once you know what the symbols mean, and we've had a blast playing the game with the different decks and cards supplied, and definitely plan on going back to pick up the Naruto sets, as well as the upcoming Evangelion sets! The one thing I'm hoping for is a second set to the Godzilla cards! The Naruto cards gave us a second set, and the Evangelion cards are already confirmed to have a second set, so the realm of possibility is there and there are still a few monsters from the Godzilla franchise yet to be covered yet. Bandai's Dragon Stars line doesn't seem like it will ever slow down, and the momentum seems to just keep building especially after the past couple of stellar waves that introduced a ton of unique new characters that the line was begging to be made. Throughout all of this though, there has been a constant influx of Gokus and Vegetas and for good reason seeing as how they are the most recognizable figures in the show's history. The latest wave to see release, the one featuring Dragon Ball Super's Broly and Android 18, saw the dis-inclusion of Goku or Vegeta for the first time in the line's history; however, the two waves revealed for release next include the titular duo once again. The future will of course feature more of these beloved two characters, and here I'll be thinking about the Goku and Vegeta figures I want most in the line, the top 5! Hasbro's line of 6 inch Power Rangers figures has really hit the ground running and already they've hit a lot of the original Mighty Morphin characters despite their game plan of mixing waves with all different shows. We've gotten both versions of Tommy, Kimberly, Jason, and Zedd, and I'm sure that the original show that started it all will continue to get the most love going forward.
