We are already getting deep into the 2026 movie season but I wanted to make sure I wrapped up on catching up on the 2025 movies I wanted to see before putting together my yearly list. 2025 had a ton of great hits and one of the best summer seasons we've seen in years! There were high point movies, and low point movies, and from everything that came out that I managed to see either in theater or at home on streaming these are the top 10 films of 2025 that in my humble personal opinion are my favorites of the year.  (Images Source) Honorable Mentions: Last Breath and Revenge of the Sith rerelease Last Breath was a movie that came out pretty early in the year and I heard virtually no one talk about it. It was a tense, small film with a great line up of actors capturing an incredible true story that has to be seen to be believed! (Image Source) She-Hulk brought with her a lot of light hearted comedy to the MCU along with several new and returning characters that would look great as action figures! To this point the only one we've gotten so far is the title character herself, but hopefully we'll get some Disney+ figure waves that will continue to fill out this cast! 5. Porcupine (Image Source) Out of the group of characters we met at Abomination's help group, Porcupine was the one whose design stuck out to me the most as one that would be cool to see as an action figure! All of the quills would not doubt pose a problem for articulation; however, it would still be visually cool. 4. Titania (Image Source) Touted during the show's run as the nemesis of the title character, Titania ended up pushed to the background by the show's final episode but had a few fun episodes causing eye-rolling trouble for the heroine. Throughout the Star Wars franchise the prequel trilogy by far has my preferred designs when it comes to the starships and vehicles seen in the galaxy. While ships like Tie Fighters and X-Wings are wholly iconic, I'm still drawn more towards a lot of the Jedi starfighters, Pod racers, and Separatist droid vehicles that we were introduced to in episodes 1, 2, and 3! Jazwares' Micro Galaxy Squadron has already been pushing ahead with a lot of these vehicles, wave 2 bringing in the Republic Laat and Vulture droids, so my hopes are high to see even more of my most wanted prequel ships in the line! Sinister Strange This was the one we all thought was Strange Supreme after the first trailers but the movie itself makes it very evident that this is not the case, the character has a different history and very much strays towards the side of evil. He did provide for one of the visually most exciting fights in the movie for the short time he was present, especially the musical battle sequence! (Image Source) 4. The Illuminati There's one character from this team that I will safe for later on but the team as a whole was very cool to see and provided for one of the most gruesome battle scenes in the whole of the MCU! There were so many awesome easter eggs to be found in this group as well, with Black Bolt being brought back with a comic accurate suit, Xavier from the X-Men films being present, and Captain Carter being translated into live action!
