After a bit of a lull between Marvel between with Far From Home to this year, Marvel has come back in full force and swinging wildly. Not just with the amount of MCU related projects being released (which is extensive) but the amount of figures being produced by Hasbro as well! They're working overtime at this point to assure that most of the cast of each movie is covered with a film's release, and so for once coming around to the MCU releases this year a lot of these shows and movies have been pretty well filled out. There's always room for more on the action figure shelf however, and with 2021 stampeding to an end let's look at each of the MCU's outings from phase 4 this year and what characters still need figures most! Hawkeye just finished up its season on Disney+ and was a ton of fun, and definitely a great way to end the year for Marvel between this and Spiderman! The awesome pairing of Hawkeye and Kate Bishop was a delight, along with the comedic fun of the Tracksuit Mafia and the surprise reappearance of a Marvel Netflix villain beloved by fans! Spoilers ahead for sure, and with Hawkeye and Kate already confirmed to be in the pipeline for release next year, these are the five supporting characters from their show that I hope to see next! Kazi Coming in at the bottom is Maya's right hand man and translator for the show, originally portrayed as having a close bond; however, by the end turning out to be out for his own interests with nothing but spite for Maya! With delays upon delays, Marvel's phase 4 movie line up has taken some time to really get going but we're now three movies deep and even with some more recent delays it looks like things are really going to get rolling once again! Marvel Legends on the other front has been rolling excessively hard and not slowing down one bit, especilly when it comes to the MCU figures which I'm a huge fan of! From Black Widow, Shang Chi, and Eternals, the most recent MCU films, Hasbro has very nicely filled them all out with nearly every action figure worthy character from these films being made! That's especially impressive when it comes to the substantial cast of Eternals! Due to the relatively low number of potential figures to be made from these movies I'm lumping them all together into one big wishlist, with this being my most wanted Marvel Legends figures from Black Widow, Shang Chi, and Eternals! I was extremely on board with the idea of What If...? The show was poised to give us so many unique, compelling ideas and with the show being animation there was no limit to what they could pull off with each episode! In the end, I think 'fun' is what best describes the show; however, I wasn't overly impressed with it in terms of story and characters aside from a handful of episodes. I'm still a huge fan of this show's concept and can't wait for it to continue in season 2! With that said, and season 2 newly announced, this is my ranking list for the episodes of Marvel's What If...? season 1! SPOILERS ahead! The finale to Marvel's What If...? animated series came and went recently, and I think the overall anthology style of the show really worked out and it was nice to walk into every episode fresh, not knowing quite what to expect. Bringing it all together by the end was a nice touch as well, and made the show feel meta when the boundaries between universes began to break. Hasbro's team of designers also wasted no time in giving us a slew of characters from the show! Nearly an entire wave consisting of a lot of the characters I had been hoping for in Captain Carter, The Watcher, Zombie Cap, T'Challa's Starlord, and the freaking Hydra Stomper as a huge deluxe figure! We also got Doctor Strange Supreme who held in my opinion the best episode of the series, and the most emotionally driven. Other figures like Heist Nebula and Zombie Hunter Spidey were both fun additions; however, made me question why we got them as opposed to some other more important characters in the series....

Something I wasn't quite expecting recently from the Marvel Legends line was such a focus into the video games of the universe! More specifically, the recent Spiderman and upcoming Avengers games. From the Spiderman game so far we've received a couple of the available suits from it, and we've received several of the upcoming heroes from the new Avengers game along with a villain in Abomination. I like this variety to what we're getting, and I hope it continues with more characters from these videogame universes! In fact, I have five in particular I hope get figures soon!
