(Images Source) Jakks Pacific's Sonic the Hedgehog line has sure been busy steadily pumping out more and more characters from the Sonic franchise with each wave seemingly becoming more and more obscure. We're getting characters now like Nack the Weasel and the Ballhog! Longtime wants of mine from the 2.5inch scale figures have also been checked off like the Newtron, Ray, and more Chao with the Dark Chao. There are some prime candidates though to be put out next in the line that I hope to see as my next most wanted! 5. Cheese We haven't gotten a new Chao in the line for a while now, and I think that when they do go back to these adorable fixtures of the franchise it would be the perfect choice to put out Cheese! We got Cream in the line already, and she is in dire need of her iconic partner from the series. Jakks Pacific's Sonic the Hedgehog line has been heavy with the constant repacks; however, each wave still brings to the line something new, and in recent cases we have gotten some truly obscure characters! Big time names like Blaze and Cream have been checked off, with a personal favorite of mine being Jet the Hawk also getting an updated figure! Not to mention Nack the Weasel getting what may be his first official general release figure, ever! Tikal Sonic Adventure got quite the focus in the line not long ago with Big and Chaos being added to the line up, and another character from that iconic Sonic adventure that'd be great in the line would be Tikal the Echidna. (Images Source) We have been getting more and more robotic Badniks in Jakks Pacific's line of Sonic figures which is very exciting! Primary characters are great, but getting more of the background designs to fill out the scenes is awesome and we've recently got some Badniks I was eagerly waiting for like the Burrobot, Newtron, and most recently the Caterkiller!! Eggman's army is packed to the brim though with all kinds of robotic enemies, and these are five more I hope to eventually see! 5. Jaws The Chopper is not the most posable of the Badniks that we've gotten so far (not that many are very posable to begin with), but it is such a classic design from the series and another underwater enemy would be the Jaws. With Jakks Pacific steadily working through giving us little playsets themed around different levels, a set themed around the underwater sequences would be the perfect way to get this guy into the line. 4. (Image Source) Part two of Netflix's Sonic Prime has premiered on Netflix, and along with it we also have two whole waves of 5 inch figures from Jakks Pacific based off of the series! In those two waves we've gotten a lot of the major players in the series from multiple versions of Sonic, Tails Nine, Thorn and Rusty rose, along with the fan-favorite Shadow! From the sound of things there should hopefully be a third and final part of the series coming out, and with Jakks Pacific seeming to be fully behind this show in terms of action figures this is my next most wanted figures from the series! 5. Mangey Tails (Image Source) The various multiversal incarnations of the characters in the series has been a lot of the fun of the show, seeing how they all differ across the timeline and how Sonic interacts with them all. Mangey Tails is one I find especially fun because he is such a far cry from our usual hyper-intelligent Tails! The mangey look to his fur with the darker accented patt...

(Image Source) Sonic Prime is the newest Sonic the Hedgehog tv show to air and it literally flips the world upside down for the heroes! While it ends on a cliffhanger setting up a definite part 2, Sonic Prime was a ton of fun and brought us through an entertaining adventure with unfamiliar versions of familiar characters! While the primary cast is comprised of series mainstays Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Big, Rouge, and Eggman, we get several new spins of them and their designs thanks to the Shatterverse, and I sorely hope that Jakks Pacific soon dives into these designs for their Sonic toyline! 5. Mr. Dr. Eggman (Image Source) As the primary villain of the series, Eggman isn't a solitary force anymore as much as he has become a whole Chaos Counsel. 5 members of the Eggman family out to rule the world, but most clearly Mr. Dr. Eggman is meant to be the big egg himself in charge, and the darkest timeline's version of the primary Dr. Robotnik. (Images Source) Jakks Pacific has really been knocking it out of the park lately when it comes to their Sonic the Hedgehog line of figures! Playsets like the Eggmobile are perfection, and a lot of my most wanted figures have been made recently like Big, Ray, Vector, Super Sonic from the second live action film, and while not formally revealed we did get a look at the upcoming Charmy Bee at a convention display. That leaves my list wide open for a refill, and this is part 3 of my most wanted Jakks Sonic figures! Honorable Mention: Chaos Eggman (Image Source) I'm not sure if we will be getting any more movie figures after that second wave of figures, but I hope at some point they can go back and give us the Chaos powered Robotnik from the end of the movie. (Image Source) One of the coolest aspects of Jakks Pacific line of Sonic the Hedgehog figures to me is the prevalence of Robotnik and his Badniks! The 2.5 inch line has given us several of these iconic robot baddies to this point like Crabmeat, the Rhinobot, and Choppers amongst others; however, the games are littered with so many variations of these guys and there's so many more I hope to see soon! So with the line really hitting a stride lately these are my top 5 most wanted Badniks from Jakk's Sonic line! 5. Burrobot (Image Source) Plenty of times I've been running along in the game only to be thwarted by this driller bots flying up from the ground! Their uppercut attacks make it hard to dodge; however, they're quite easy to deal with once they come back to the ground. The toyline hasn't yet ventured too far outside of the Badniks from the first game's first level, but hopefully we'll see more soon. 4. Spikes (Image Source) I always found this enemy time ...

A lot of the 2.5 inch Sonic line from Jakks Pacific has been smaller versions of characters we've gotten from the 4 inch line; however, they've also produced several figures in this scale that go along with the 4 inch figures like Chao and multiple Badniks which I've really enjoyed! When it comes to the classic versions of characters I think the 2.5 inch line works better for them as well, and I'm very happy to see it pumping along as heartily as its larger scale counterpart. We have both Sonic and Mighty themselves in the 2.5 inch line meaning a 2.5 inch line would complete our trio from SegaSonic, and having them all in this smaller scale would also better fit the aesthetic of their game appearances from that arcade game ...
