(Banner Image Source)   (Following Images Source) The Tie series of starfighters from the Star Wars universe have been continuing to be a large part of the Micro Galaxy Squadron line by Jazwares. As iconic as these ships are it is unsurprising to see so many of them put out, with easily recognizable ones like the original trilogy Tie Bomber and more modern renditions like Kylo Ren's Silencer and Whisper, not to mention recent reveals like the bombdiggity Striker and Defender! So with so many Tie Fighters having been released to this point I have tee'd up a new list of Tie Fighters I hope to see in this ever growing line! Continuing my look at my favorite action figures from 2023, this'll be my list counting down my favorite Star Wars figures from the year! We certainly got quite a few, especially in representation of new shows, and many of these figures were quite impressive! From newer media to more classic media, we got lots of fantastic figures in Hasbro's Black Series line, and this list will count down my top 5 favorite from 2023! Honorable mention: Commander Appo (Image Source) Starting off with an honorable mention, the Commander Appo figure is a simple repaint to come from the Obi Wan Kenobi show branded figure line, but one I was extremely excited to get as an updated release of the 501st trooper! Not only because they're Anakin's fighting forces, but their presence in the original Battlefront 2 made this trooper ever more iconic for me growing up, and I'm excited to finally have the figure in my collection with the updated trooper articulation! 5. Since I last took a look at the collection Hasbro has delivered on a lot of the characters I wanted most in the line with Saw Gerrera, Droidekas and Super Battle Droids coming soon, lots of Jedi, the Dark Trooper, Bad Batch Echo, Rosario Dawson's Ahsoka, and more! We've gotten a few more shows with Andor, Mandalorian season 3, and the currently running Ahsoka, as well as all the past movies that built up my childhood, so with the collection growing as much as it had recently this is my newest rendition of my top 10 most wanted Black Series Star Wars action figures! (Image Source) Andor has certainly been a surprising entry to the Star Wars universe with how great it has been! Consistently mature and outstanding story telling combined with amazing visuals and a whole cast of well fleshed out characters that make me honestly look at other tv shows I've been watching and wondering why they aren't as good! That goes for some recent Star Wars shows as well. Unfortunately, compared to the likes of Mandalorian and the recent Obi Wan Kenobi the offerings for this series have been slim so far but I'm hoping that picks up in the future and we can get some of the main cast members who have been excluded so far.
