(Banner Images Source)   (Following Images Source) With the boom of prequel figures we are seeing in Hasbro's Star Wars Black Series line that comes with several new Revenge of the Sith based designs and characters finally seeing their 6 inch figure debut. Between last year and this year we are seeing several new Jedi Council members added to the line such as Ki Adi Mundi and Shaak Ti, as well as a prequel-era Palpatine with the Sidious we received last year, along with the Magna Guard being added to the line. With these all released or awaiting release that checks off a few Revenge of the Sith figures I was most hoping for, and with 2025 kicking off hot as the lava pits on Mustafar I have put together a new list compiling my most wanted Revenge of the Sith figures! Hasbro's Star Wars the Black Series line hasn't had my attention as of late as it used to have, which may be attributed to several other toylines pulling me up and other toylines giving me more of what I want whereas a lot of recent Black Series offerings haven't entirely been tailored towards me. However, 2024 looks to be a banger of a year so far with a heavy focus on the prequels which I will always be excited about, but being that there are pipelined characters and creatures I've been wanting for a while, as this is all just a taste of what we're getting this year! I've been talking about the Clone Wars a lot recently on this blog and that will continue as the Black Series line of Star Wars figures from Hasbro continues to give a lot of new love to the show that it definitely deserves. We've gotten Ahsoka, the Ahsoka Trooper, and Cad Bane all recently so I'm coming to back to my base post of my most wanted figures from all of Clone Wars and revising it for a part 2. The recent influx of Obi Wan and Anakin figures to Hasbro's Black Series line of 6 inch scale Star Wars figures has got me wondering how many versions of these characters are left for the line to do! As I looked through, I found that for the most part Obi Wan is basically covered, but there is still a few Anakins left to be done in the line, and in this list I will be going over the versions of both of them that have yet to seen Black Series representation yet. Star Wars Black Series releases have been scant this year with only two waves and a hand full of exclusives, but with the release of episode 9 onward I'm expecting a slew of new product to hit shelves and for the drought to come to an end. In anticipation of the line bringing more figures to the shelves, here is another top 5 list for the line, this time focusing on the army builders the line could bring us in the future! (Image Source) 5. Episode 9 Jet Trooper This is a new type of Stormtrooper seen in the episode 9 teaser trailer that wear jetpacks similar to the Jumptroopers from Star Wars Rebels. Every version of a Stormtrooper automatically deserves a figure so hopefully it won't be too much longer until the Jet trooper joins the already revealed Sith Trooper in the figure realm. I have seen countless times people claiming that Anakin had no reason to turn to the dark side in the Star Wars prequels and that when it happened it was rushed and forced without any real reason behind it. I am here to put that claim to rest and explain how it is not true. There were several influences throughout Anakin's life that helped the dark side grow within him, from the circumstances to his life, events that transpired with him, and even his own feelings growing up; all of these were factors towards his eventual rejection of the light side of the Jedi. His turn to darkness could not make more sense after seeing and understanding what he went through. The life that Anakin Skywalker grew up with was from the very start oppressive, being the son of a slave and as a byproduct of that was also a slave himself. Poverty was the kind of life he was raised in and along with that he had to endure bullying and insults from his owner, the dreaded Watto. Living in this lifestyle was...
