I feel like its been forever since I wrote about Mega Construx's line of buildable Pokemon sets but at the same time I feel like product for this line has been very scarce this year. It could be because of Covid, or the emphasis on Halo, but I'm missing that constant stream of Pokemon we used to get and every new release gets me excited. From my previous list where I discussed what sets would be most likely to be coming out soon, I was right on the counts of getting other region's starter Pokemon, Greninja, Raichu, Kanto "non evolvers" like Scyther, Electabuzz, and Mr Mime, Eevee's evolutions, and Detective Pikachu based sets. I've added some new choices to this updated list, dropped some who were left over on the first, and with the hopes that we'll get lots more Pokemon sets in the future here are the top 10 Pokemon Mega Construx sets I think I are most likely vol 2! One of the most popular and integral parts of the Pokemon universe are the legendary Pokemon that are present throughout each game in the series. We're constantly introduced to interesting, and incredible new Pocket Monsters with every new installment and the legendary creatures are among the most anticipated. I haven't written a post about Mega Construx's line of Pokemon sets in a while so I figure I would come back to it with a big subject, one that hasn't really been touched upon in the line beyond the Mewtwo vs Mew set. After playing through Lets Go on the Switch, Sword and Shield were the first true Pokemon games to come out on the Swith and I really enjoyed playing through the whole time! The graphics took a definite upgrade, and I really loved the Wilds which is the closest we have had to an open world Pokemon game. Pokemon's Mega Construx sets have been steadily releasing for the past couple of years and this year saw a big focus on the Detective Pikachu movie that came out earlier in the year. Just like the fire type set of this same type of post, the water type Pokemon from my first post on this subject have mostly all been released in Mega Construx's line of Pokemon sets! The pokeball sets consistently give us smaller sized Pokemon, and so a lot of them have been pumped out over the last couple of years. I recently finsihed going through every type of Pokemon and the top 5 I wanted to see made in the Pokeball series from each type, but by the time I finished my post about the top 5 water types I wanted to get were mostly checked off. Pysduck, Omanyte, and Kabuto have all been made, and while Spheal was on the first list it isn't actually a primary water type so it is being bumped off this list. The most constant stream of Pokemon in Mega Construx's line of Pokemon sets comes from the smaller Pokeball sets that bring along one smaller sized Pokemon each. These waves have hit 11 at this point, 6 Pokemon in each set, and that includes a lot of the fire type Pokemon I wanted to see in the line! Fennekin and Torchic have both been made; and Vulpix came in one of the Pokeball waves. Mega Construx's line of buildable Pokemon sets has made the starter Pokemon of each region a bit focus of the line. We're constantly getting two packs with these iconic, beloved Pokemon and are nearly to the point where each game's starting trio has been representing in the brick built form. As this portion of the line of coming to a close, I thought I would take a look at the Pokemon remaining and rank how excited I am for each of the remaining nine start Pokemon.
