(Image Source) Mattel's Masterverse line seems to have taken on a whole new life from where it started. At first it looked to be a toyline representing simply the Revelation series on Netflix, but that has quickly changed and Masterverse is pulling from every corner of the MOTU franchise that it can! The live action movie, Revelation, New Adventures, as well as She-Ra and "New Eternia" which is essentially updates to those original classic designs. We've gotten so many fantastic reveals as of late either from Revelation itself or from "New Eternia" that check off a lot of my wanted figures such as Clawful, Whiplash, Buzz-Off, and Clamp Champ, with the recent SDCC also gifting us with Sorceress Teela and Orko the white from Revelation! With Revolutions right around the corner, and this line only getting more fantastic by the day, I've updated it with my new countdown of most wanted figures and characters in the line! 5. Despite the split responses it got from fans, I was a huge fan of the Masters of the Universe Revelations show that aired on Netflix, and cannot wait for the upcoming Revolution follow up! It brought He-Man into the modern era of entertainment for more mature audiences, and with it was concurrently launched one of the best He-Man lines in my collecting experience! Mattel's Masterverse line has been an absolute delight, and the line has only soared higher and higher with it now encompassing all He-Man related media which has allowed tons of characters and designs from outside the Revelations series to be updated in figure form! Revelations still remains my wheelhouse though when it comes to my most wanted figures, and with a few of my most wanted now a reality such as Roboto, Orko, and the Sorceress, this is my updated list of top 5 most wanted Masters of the Universe figures from Mattel's Masterverse line! Mattel's line of articulated Masterverse figures has been going strong and with their recent showing at the Powercon convention it was very evident that this line has no indication of slowing down at all! So many characters from the Revelations line have been immortalized in figure form, some with multiple designs put out as well! I was a big fan of Netflix's new rendition of the He-Man series, and seeing so many characters done so quickly puts a smile on my face. While the number of potential figures to do from the series continues to dwindle, those 5 episodes held appearances from lots of characters and with Tri-Klops, Mer-Man, and Andra now action figures from my previous list I have a brand new top 5 most wanted list to run down! Regardless of how fans feel about the new Masters of the Universe: Revelation tv series on Netflix, it can't be denied that the Masterverse figures being produced by Mattel for the show are really great. Articulation is top notch, the characters' come with a great load of accessories, and overall I'm very happy with the current presentation of the line! The number of figures we've gotten so far have been a great mix of obvious main characters and more obscure faces from the show, with my personal favorites being Scareglow, Faker, Skeletor, and Man at Arms! I have high hopes that this line will continue to give us updated, new versions of these Masters of the Universe cast members and these would be my top 5 picks for the next figures in the line!
