2025 has come to a close for Mcfarlane's DC line, and it has been a bittersweet year. On one hand they were delivering constantly great action figures and an amazingly diverse range of character selections (who would've thought we would be getting Darkstars and  Malcolm Merlyn has non-Platinum main line releases?) but on the other hand we were delivered the news that Mattel will be taking back the license ownership. We will be getting figure through 2026 by Mcfarlane but after that the future is unclear of Mcfarlane's line will end in its entirety as Mattel takes over. Regardless of what the future brings, McFarlane's DC comics line of figures is still one of my main collecting focuses, and with a plentiful supply of amazing figures being released in 2025 this is my retrospective of my top ten favorite Mcfarlane DC Multiverse figures of 2025!  (Images Source) 10. SDCC 2025 has come and gone with  numerous reveals from toy companies going as hard as ever. With reveals from Hasbro, Mcfarlane, Jada Toys, and more it was truly a show like no other and one of the most exciting in recent years. So with the excitement of the weekend having passed and all the reveals out on the board, these are my top favorite SDCC reveals for the 2025 convention season!! From numerous versions of Joker to modern villains like Punchline to more classic villains like Clock King, we've amassed quite a group for Batman and his allies to fight through. Deadshot is the most recent addition with a wonderfully classic design, with Mr. Bloom one of my absolute favorite figures we've gotten in the line thus far. From my previous list I'm taking off the videogame based villains as it has been quite a while since we've received anything new from the Arkham games, and I'm putting my desire for another New 52 Joker figure on the backburner in favor of new villains for the line. 5. With major heroines like Power Girl, Huntress, and Starfire coming out as of late, the tables are turning in a nice direction and this post will count down the female characters I hope to see finally come to the line next! The Platinum releases have offered lots of great smaller scale villains, whereas the mainline has also given us fan favorite villains like Darkseid, Doomsday, General Zod, and now members of The Rogues with Boomerang and now Captain Cold! With villains looking to be a staple in the line, these are my next batch of most wanted comic book villains from the toyline! Honorable mention: Inertia and New 52 Joker Inertia ranks amongst my top favorite speedster villains from The Flash comics, and he would be extremely easy for Mcfarlane to get into the line with the existing Impulse retool of the Future State Superman mold. Lots of characters have been getting multiple figures and variations throughout the line, and recently it feels more than ever that we're getting so many new characters brought to the line for the first time. A lot of these characters have been some of my most wanted characters such as Jay Garrick, Impulse, and Batwoman. We also are finally getting a Power Girl, and Wonder Woman as well finally got a very sought after figure based on a standard design.
