My collecting of S.H.Figuarts really took off in 2024 as I branched out into multiple new and old lines, with Tamashii Nations themselves seemingly taking their figures to the next level between character choices, sculpting improvements, and bringing new shows into the S.H.Figuarts banner! With 2024 come to a close I've put together my list of the top 5 S.H.Figuarts that stood out to me most as my favorites of the year! (Images Source) Honorable mention: Legendary Super Saiyan Goku Dragon Ball wasn't a line I had really dived into until just recently as I've finally started the franchise myself with the original show, and have found myself addicted to picking up a lot of the series' S.H.Figuarts offerings. Tamashii Nations S.H.Figuarts line has had an epic 2024 with lots of great reveals and releases amongst existing lines and new lines; but beyond that we have had plenty of reveals for the future throughout 2025 as well. There is so much to be excited for that I am thrilled to see in the pipeline, and before I put out a list counting down my favorite Figuarts of 2024 I'm looking ahead to my top anticipated S.H.Figuarts figures of 2025! (Images Source) Honorable Mention: Stardust dragon and Yugi tease I haven't jumped into the Yu-Gi-Oh line quite yet but the reveals and releases so far have all looked stellar and invoked a lot of nostalgia from my childhood. The event revealed the Stardust Dragon which is from an era of the franchise I am not familiar with but I can't deny how savage this design is and how beautiful the combination of blue and silver is with the purple highlights on the chest and shoulders. Not only this but they teased the first duelist in the line with Yugi himself which is a long time coming given how many duel monsters have been put out.  1. Harry Potter I was of the mind that the Harry Potter line was dead after the Malfoy figure never materialized and the line halted with no new news for a few years at this point. (Image Source) 2023 is the year that I really got into S.H.Figuarts lines. I always knew of the company and lines that it released, but always thought it was a bit too expensive for me. However, in this year I started to dip into the line which touts some of the best action figures I now collect. Their Naruto line has reignited my childhood love of growing up with that series, their Berserk line perfectly complements how I've been reading the series for the past two years, and there are assortments across all their lines that I find myself drawn to; especially as a big anime fan! 2024 looks to be a big year for the line with lots of fantastic releases that I'm looking forward to. (Image Source) Seeing Tamashii Nations start up a Demon Slayer S.H. Figuarts line was one of the most exciting announcement I saw in 2023 for the company, and their first few offerings of Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Giyu look fantastic! While none have released quite yet, with three reveals so far it is clear that S.H. is going all in on this line, and I'm all here for it! The three characters we are getting so far are a great way to start building out this universe, and these next five characters are the top figures I hope to get in the line sooner rather than later! 5. Rengoku (Image Source) Undoubtedly one of the best Hashira to be introduced in the series, he stole the show in the Demon Train arc, with his engaging personality and striking determination.
