Best Mega Construx Pokemon Pokeball sets from each series

Image
Mega Construx' buildable line of Pokemon figures has come far since it started, filling out its roster of Pokemon and sets very nicely, thouhg they are far from finished. Alongside their larger lines, they've been running smaller Pokeball sets that contain usually a first evolution Pokemon, but always one small enough to fit into a 7 dollar price point. That series hit 10 waves recently, and to celebrate that, I'll be going over what I personally think is the best figure from each wave. With many more waves hopefully in the pipeline, here are the figures that I think shone the brightest out of each wave. (Image Source) Series 1: Abra Wave 1 made a smart choice by delivering six very popular Pokemon from the original game, all of them of high standard, but none more so than Abra. This Pokemon build was very articulated, was larger than the others, and had the very appeal that the original Pokemon had. I can see the placid mind waiting to teleport away, with the fig

Most wanted NECA TMNT Secret of the Ooze figures

Image
NECA's line of Ninja Turtles figures continues to expand and envelop the action figure world. Their figures from the original live action film were a hit among the collectors, as is their line covering the old 80s cartoon series which is growing at an unprecedented rate. Add to that the new line of video-game figures that they are starting to release, and it really makes your head spin once you realized they confirmed Secret of the Ooze figures for next year! Turtles seem to have become one of NECA's main focus, and they're making the most of that focus. So with Secret of the Ooze figures confirmed for the horizon, here are my most wanted figures from the movie! (Image Source) 3. Rahzar This will be a shorter list, because there really isn't that many characters from the movie that deserve figures. The turtles look pretty much identical to their first movie counterparts, but one new character is Rahzar. This is a mutated creature that gave the heroes a lot of

10 villains I want to see in CW's The Flash

Image
Throughout the five season of the CW's Flash tv show that we've had already, the show has gone through a lot of villains. Almost every new episode brings with it a villain for Barry and the team to fight, meaning a lot of the Flash's comic book Rogues have already been introduced along with quite a few z list characters and even villains belonging to other heroes like Firestorm's Killer Frost! Even so, there are a few Flash villains from the comics that haven't made it into the tv universe yet, and here are the top 10 villains I'm still waiting to have appear on The Flash. (Image Source) 10. The Eel This is a villain from the comics who seems perfect for a villain of the week gig, and would most certainly be turned into a meta-human for an episode. In the comics he used a grease gun to make it impossible to be caught, but I can see the show making it so as a superpower he can do that to his skin and become one slippery foe for the Flash. This would als

Top 5 favorite SDCC 2019 toy reveals

Image
SDCC ended just this past weekend and over all it was a very mixed bag in terms of toy reveals, and in the end I'd say it wasn't that great of a showing. Going in, due to different circumstances, I wasn't anticipating much but in the end I was still left feeling a bit dry from the reveals. Some lines did end up revealing some great products though, and here I'll be running down my top 5 favorite toy reveals from SDCC 2019! 5. Burning Godzilla 2019 This was a later reveal from NECA and one that I was very excited to see. They had teased another Godzilla: King of the Monsters figure being revealed at the show and I assumed it would be this version of Godzilla since it was the easiest and most obvious figure for them to do. Seeing it fully revealed was great, and the molten, fiery detail on the hunk of plastic looks amazing! (Image Source) 4. Rhino Alien Neca was the company that I personally thought had the best showing at SDCC. They revealed a slew of new p

Top 5 most wanted obscure G1 characters in the Transformers TCG

Image
With wave 3 of the Transformers TCG from Wizards of the Coast, the card game game us a load of obscure characters that I definitely did not expect to see nor knew even existed. But now characters like the Firecons and Omnibots are in my mind, and I'm eager to see what other characters we'll get from the pages of old comics books or old toylines that haven't been mentioned in ages. G1 is full of obscure characters, and here are the top 5 I've found that I've love to see add to a future wave! (Image Source) 5. Sixshot By far this is the least obscure character on this list and that is also why he is lowest on the list. Many G1 fans will know who this character is, but mroe casual fans likely have no idea who this character is who had only around a minute of screen time in the original show. The creators have mentioned that they're trying to figure out how to make a six changer work in the card game, and automatically that must mean that the most famous

Top 5 most wanted Transformers WFC Siege character cards in the TCG

Image
The third wave of Wizards of the Coast's Transformers card game was based upon the new Siege toyline running for the franchise, meaning that many of the characters from the toyline found themselves as cards in the card game. This brought plenty of new characters into the game that hadn't yet received cards, but there is still a few from the toyline that haven't been translated yet that I hope either happens in the upcoming "Siege 2" wave 4 of the TCG, or later in the game's life. So here are the top 5 Transformers Siege toyline characters I want in the Transformers TCG. (Image Source) 5. Spinister This character was part of the surprise 5th wave of Siege that no one had really expected. I don't know much about him aside from the fact that his name is awesome, and that he is a helicopter. The card game so far doesn't have enough helicopter characters, and is far from having enough, but Spinister would be a good start in that direction as well

5 most wanted Batman villains in the CW Arrowverse

Image
The CW DC shows have been notorious for bringing in a slew of lesser known villains to act as the foes for each week, especially on the Flash. Many of these villains have included Batman's foes, and with the Batwoman tv show being announced for a full season I'm anticipating more of Batman's iconic rogues gallery to be making their way to the CW-verse. Several villains like I mentioned have already been touched upon, but there are some who have yet to appear in any capacity while others have been full on teased. So without another second wasted, here are my top 5 most wanted Batman villains in the CW Arrowverse. (Image Source) 5. Mad Hatter This was a villain mentioned on the Flash already, and he would work very well not only on the small screen but n the universe's more outlandish premises too. It wouldn't be out of the ordinary for our heroes to find themselves hallucinating an entire dream world, and Mad Hatter would be perfect for such an occasion. (
