The Flash S05 EP12 spoiler review

Image
(Guess you could say this is the "Dream team," get it?) Last night Flash premiered what I thought was a very strong episode with a lot of easter eggs to get excited about, as well as a possible tease of a future big bad...here is my review of the 12th episode of Flash's season 5, "Memorabilia." (Image Source) The episode opened with a nice scene of the team ice skating, which was a great change of pace and we got to see them acting like regular people for once rather than constantly delving into the superhero business. We also got Ralph's story about his mother's ex-boyfriend, the Zamboni driver, and thankfully Ralph stuck around for most of the episode after that. The secondary storyline of the episode followed Ralph and Cisco as the former dragged along the latter to a bar where supposedly a man knew about the whereabouts of Cicada. It quickly was revealed though that the "Cicada" in question was actually a band called, "Sickad

Most wanted Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Black Series figures

Image
Finishing out my lists of what Black Series figures I'd like to see from each of the prequel films, I'll now be looking into Revenge of the Sith which was the third and final film in the prequel saga. This was the film where the Republic fell, Anakin turned to the dark side, and the galaxy was set on a path that lead to the original trilogy. So many major moments occurred and the toyline has only just scratched the surface of the figures they could make. Grievous is coming after a long wait, but what other characters from the film are still waiting for figures, and which ones do I want most? (Image Source) Mustafar Padme/Pearl nightgown When it comes to Padme's outfits in the third film I found that not so many were as stand out to me as in the first two movies, not to say they aren't all beautiful, just that the first two movies for me offered more exciting looks. This helps me to better appreciate the outfits that did stand out to me from her appearance in th

(I found myself wondering why Caitlin went for a knife fight, instead of just blasting him) The Flash gave us a very Cicada-heavy episode after not seeing him since the midseason finale. We got the return of a few characters, the furthering of a few plot points, and a new direction the team will take in their fight against Cicada. So here is my review of the episode, entitled, "Seeing Red." (Image Source) The primary plot of the episode followed the team as they discovered Cicada is slaughtering past metahuman criminals who had been released from prison. It was a cool concept and really worked to the serial killer point of Cicada's storyline, and even gave us a cameo of "Bork," otherwise known as "King of the Docks," in the comics, however; the show's version was not a monstrous beast of a man. I'm starting to wonder if Orlin's hate for metahumans is all his own though, or if the hospital doctor who has been aiding him has so

Most wanted Star Wars: Attack of the Clones Black Series figures

Next year will be the 20th anniversary of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace hitting theaters, and Hasbro has already made it clear they will be celebrating it. A good hand full of prequel characters have already been revealed for their Black Series line of action figures, and while I've already done a list of Phantom Menace characters I would like to see soon the reveals of characters like Grievous and Droid Factory Padme make it clear that all three prequel movies will be pulled from. This got me looking to the second film in the prequel saga, Attack of the Clones, for some more figures I would like to see made with Hasbro's new focus on prequel characters. (Image Source) Kid Boba First up is the child version of Boba Fett that we got in the film. He didn't get to do a whole lot in the film itself, but I did like to get his very unique backstory and his introduction here lead to the episodes of the Clone Wars tv show that featured him. That was where child Boba reall

(Barry, Nora, and Iris at Weather Witch's trial. They're all doing the same thing with their hands) The Flash has finally returned from its midseason break and I'm happy to have it back! The episode that premiered tuesday night gave us a lot to think about for future episodes, and some new mysteries that need to be solved. Here's my review of the Flash's newest episode, "The Flash and the Furious" (Image Source) The main brunt of the episode focused on the creation of the "New Rogues," though, I never really felt like we got a full Rogues team up aside from Captain Cold and Heatwave, and then Weather Wizard and Trickster. So for the classic villains to be pushed aside I feel a bit cheated out of a true Rogue's team up. The newest team so far consists of Weather Witch and a new villain called Silver Ghost, with Spin being hinted as a member later on. I'm not very interested in this group of characters and do prefer the old villa

Top 5 wanted Mega Construx water type Pokemon Pokeball sets

Image
I'm going to keep the momentum going on my most wanted Pokeball sets of each type from Mega Construx's Pokemon building line. This time I'll be looking into the water type Pokemon that I want most across every generation that could fit inside the piece count that the Pokeball sets usually cater to. Wailmer would have been an easy number 1 spot for this list given how its evolutionary line is one of my most favorite; however, Wailmer is a very large Pokemon and I don't think he would fit inside a Pokeball set. One more thing I wanted to mention: when I did this kind of list for fire type Pokemon I included starter Pokemon like Fennekin and Torchic when I shouldn't have, those Pokemon will surely be done in battle sets like all the past starters have so hoping for them to show up in the Pokeball line is meaningless. So here it is, my most wanted water type Pokemon for the Pokeball sets! (Image Source) 5. Horsea This is just a very cute Pokemon and one that p

Throughout Mega Construx's license with the Pokemon brand, smaller sets composed of a typically first evolution Pokemon inside of a pokeball have been abundant and seemingly the main push for the line. Seven series have already released with many more surely on the way, so I decided to turn my focus towards these pokeball sets for the time being. What smaller, first evolution Pokemon do I want to show up most? Since there are so many to choose from, I'm narrowing it down to types, and this time I'll be thinking about the fire type pokeball set Pokemon I want to see made next. 5. Fennekin Hailing from the Kalos region, I've never actually played the game or owned this Pokemon, rather, I find it very cute and I dig its evolution line enough that I hope the Kalos starters get released soon. Getting Fennekin would be the first step towards the whole evolutionary line, and on its own it is a very cute starter Pokemon with a big head, sharp eyes, and tufts of hair in its
