Putting out more figures than both of the previous two years combined, Mcfarlane has concluded their junior year with the DC comics license, and I am purely loving the number of figures we're getting, the diversity in character selections, and the consistently great unique molds that the line puts out! There were so many impressive figures this year that I could not restrict my ranking to just 5 spots, so this will be my top 10 favorite figures from Mcfarlane's DC Multiverse line of 2022! And with a line up like this I can only imagine what 2023 will bring us! While none of been particularly ground breaking so far, I've really been enjoying the 7 inch scale Page Punchers line from Mcfarlane and the exclusive comic books that they each entail. So far we've had three wave bringing us three different exclusive comics, and figures based on them. Black Adam, The Flash, and Injustice. With this post I will be focusing on the Page Punchers comics from Mcfarlane and listing down the designs in them I want to see made in figure form next, because the figures that come with the comics don't cover ever design we see in them! Hawkgirl (Black Adam) This is one of the last big designs from the Black Adam comic that needs to be made into a figure, and honestly this would have made a lot more sense than Batman! He barely appeared in the comic, and when he did most of his costume was obscured to the point that the figure is purely taking inspiration from the cover rather than the comic itself. Mcfarlane's line of DC Multiverse figures continues to live up to its namesake of "multiverse" with characters receiving multiple alternate iterations in the toyline from throughout the history of the DC universe! We've gotten so many cool characters and awesome alternate designs for characters, and with more and more characters coming through there are more and more designs for these characters that I want to see visited in the future! One of DC's most iconic and popular villains of all time, the Joker has gotten plenty of love from the Mcfarlane line that reflects a lot of the villain's costumes across the DC multiverse! Since my last list we've gotten a few more figures, including all three of the Three Jokers, the Dark Knight Returns, and while it wasn't the version that I wanted we still did get a New 52 Death of the Family Joker. Killing Joke If we're going to keep talking about iconic designs for the Joker it will be pretty hard not to bring up his look from the Killing Joke in which he visited Gordon's apartment wearing a Hawaiian shirt, then shot and crippled Barbara. Mcfarlane's DC line continues to expand and grow with new characters and new designs of characters being added at every turn, and the line seems to have more and more figures being released every month! This being my seventh go around now on the subject I won't waste much time on an intro, I'll simply explain that with the line exploring all the facets of the Multiverse with so many alternate versions and designs of characters being utilized, I'm looking at what characters we have in the line already and which designs for these characters I'd like to see next!
