Mcfarlane has of late has been powering through the introduction of new characters to their line of DC action figures! I'm so thrilled to see them better fill out the ranks of these incredible, varied, and popular characters, and as the line has also entirely embraced the idea of the Multiverse I'm already thinking about what alternate versions of these newer characters I want to see down the line! So like I've done five time already, these are my most wanted alternate versions of characters from Mcfarlane's DC action figure line! Continuing with the theme I started in a previous post, I will be taking characters designs that both Mattel and Mcfarlane utilized for their respective DC action figure lines and comparing my thoughts on the differences between how the two companies approached the figures. While I've been no stranger to how I feel Mcfarlane is better hands for the line, Mattel's offerings weren't without their merits and in the previous post I even mentioned how their armored Batman from DKR does a lot of things better than Mcfarlanes! Having recently finished up the Rebirth era series of Batman Beyond comics, I'm saddened that their isn't a title following the character running currently but I'm loving that Mcfarlane toys have picked up on the universe and given us quite a few characters based on the Beyond mythos already! Blight and Batwoman Beyond were two fantastic choices from the Rebirth series, but they aren't the only designs from the series that could be made into action figure form and with a Batman Beyond shelf already coming along nicely these are my top 5 most wanted Mcfarlane DC action figures based on the Batman Beyond Rebirth series! Following the Futures End storyline from the New 52 we got a really fun reboot of the Batman Beyond storyline in the comics themselves, canon with everything going on in the universe. It didn't run for many issues; however, was a really enjoyable read and then lead into the Rebirth run. I greatly enjoyed this era of Batman Beyond comics, even if it rewrote continuity a bit from what the end of Futures End set up, and Mcfarlane's surprise wave of figures based on Batman Beyond has got me hoping that even more characters from Beyond's cast will get the figure treatment! So before I get into my top 5 most wanted figures from this comic run, I have first an honorable mention!
