Star Wars the Black Series as a line keeps getting better and better in my opinion. As a prequels fan, I love the recent influx of representation the line has given to that era of the franchise, along with the increased amount of aliens and robots it feels like we're getting! Articulation has never been better, photo real has made the figures look better than ever, and with this huge gap in movies that means the line has plenty of time to catch its breath and not only give us characters from the newer movies it missed, but also return to giving us tons of legacy characters from the original two trilogies. With the future wide open for the line to go above and beyond, here is my newly updated list of the top 10 Star Wars the Black Series figures I want most vol 3. Something Mcfarlane has made a point about with his line of DC action figures is that he wants to do the cooler looking figures that will stand out against the others, and also that haven't been done before really. That was his reasoning with the Hellbat armor, the Superman Unchained armor, and the upcoming White Knight figures, and it appears that these choices have been well received by fans with these figures being some of the best selling in his assortment! He's said he will do more of what sells, so more of these specific, stylized figures are probably on the horizon so I'm looking to the less classic versions and more modern variations like those listed above for my top 5 most wanted DC stylized figures! NECA's stamp in the TMNT toy history keeps on chugging as Toyfair showed off a ton of new figures for their 1980s cartoon line! So many long awaited figures were finally revealed like Splinter and Baxter Stockman, as well as a completed Android Krang after the tease we got a while ago. Also on display were multiple versions of the Triceratons, the first of which was revealed a while ago too. Suddenly, my vol 2 of most wanted figures from the old show has been checked off nearly completely and I've got a vol 3 here with another top 5 of my most wanted figures from the original TMNT 1980s cartoon! I am really enjoying the new mainline series of Transformers comics, but just as much I am enjoying the spinoff comic book series titled, "Galaxies," that offers standalone stories based around popular characters separate from the main line storyline! The Constructicon 4 issue series was a great opener, and so far the Cliffjumper storyline is a strong follow up. Both of them have me excited for the Arcee/Greenlight/Gauge story after that, and especially the Ultra Magnus spotlight by issue 10. There hasn't been anything said on the life of the series after that, but I'm hoping it will continue for the foreseeable future, and I've thought about 5 potential characters I'd love to see covered in the Galaxies line of spinoff stories! I've mentioned it before but coming out of Toyfair 2020, my favorite surprise that caught me off guard was the reveal of Jazware's new line of Halo action figures! I had no idea they had acquired the license and the figures themselves look amazing, added to that the fact that they're pulling from different Halo games instead of just adapting the new one and I think the future may be bright for Halo action figures after Mattel let their line die. McFarlane had a good showing this past month with a ton of new figures for all of their lines, but the one I was most excited about was the continuation of their DC figure line and the characters that they're bringing to us in wave 2. In my original list of my most wanted videogame characters from the company's new line, I included the Batman: Dark Tomorrow Batman who we're basically getting with the blue, classic Batman variant of the Detective Comics 1000 Batman. I also included the Arkham versions of Batman and Joker who are both coming to us in the second wave of figures.  Thats three out of the original five I had on my mind so I thought of a new set of five to make up a new list, and here is my new list of DC videogame characters I'd like figures of! The Flash had a lot going on this episode and it left us with quite the episode to think about going into this extended break due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
