We are already getting deep into the 2026 movie season but I wanted to make sure I wrapped up on catching up on the 2025 movies I wanted to see before putting together my yearly list. 2025 had a ton of great hits and one of the best summer seasons we've seen in years! There were high point movies, and low point movies, and from everything that came out that I managed to see either in theater or at home on streaming these are the top 10 films of 2025 that in my humble personal opinion are my favorites of the year.  (Images Source) Honorable Mentions: Last Breath and Revenge of the Sith rerelease Last Breath was a movie that came out pretty early in the year and I heard virtually no one talk about it. It was a tense, small film with a great line up of actors capturing an incredible true story that has to be seen to be believed! (Images Source) Marvel's slate of television series heading into phase 6 of the MCU isn't as vast as the future seemed the last time I discussed upcoming shows, but that can be attributed to an effort on Marvel's part to focus on quality over quantity, plus I'm sure they're holding back on announcing too many things that would be coming out after the Avengers climax to the Multiverse saga. We've gotten A LOT of Marvel heroes and series that further build out the world and characters of the MCU, blowing it up moreso than Marvel fans ever expected to see this universe flourish I'm sure. Moon Knight, She Hulk, Ms Marvel, Ironheart, not to mention lesser known characters like Echo and Agatha, along with Secret Invasion, the return of Daredevil in Born Again, and the very fun Spiderman: Freshman Year. And just like that, 900 posts have been reached on this blog. I will never get tired of talking about toys and action figures, especially as more new lines and more new companies emerge every year, and the existing lines continue to put out more and more of the designs, characters, and concepts that I love. For the 900th post I'm bringing in a new rendition of my post where I take a look at all the main toylines I collect and what figures I want most from those lines, and with the whirlwind of lines in recent times this list has expanded to include so much more. Unforunately the Lightning Collection from Hasbro seems to be dead, though we did get Dino Thunder Tommy before it ended, and from Star Wars and Transformers we've gotten both Que and Saw Gerrera. (Image Source) Sony's Spider-Man universe has been seeing a lot more activity in the Marvel Legends line of figures, especially with the release of No Way Home which granted us new figures for Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, not to mention several villains who had returned from other films like Doc Ock, Sandman, and The Lizard most recently! The Into the Spiderverse franchise has also exploded with action figure representation, with figures throughout both films being released across multiple waves at this point. It has been great seeing designs and characters from these films returning to action figure form, and this list will count down my next five most wanted Sony Spider-Man film figures. 5.   (Image Source) X-Men 97' blew my socks off in the best way, showing that Marvel really knows what they're doing with the characters now that they have them back from Fox. The show was such a fan continuation of the original Animated Series, and that classic theme was exhilarating to hear each time it played! Marvel Legends has not been slacking either with two whole waves of figures produced to represent the show, with figures from both waves selling like hot cakes! The Legends team have confirmed there will not be a third wave this year, but are looking to make more figures eventually, and these upcoming five are my most wanted from the series!  5.
