We are already getting deep into the 2026 movie season but I wanted to make sure I wrapped up on catching up on the 2025 movies I wanted to see before putting together my yearly list. 2025 had a ton of great hits and one of the best summer seasons we've seen in years! There were high point movies, and low point movies, and from everything that came out that I managed to see either in theater or at home on streaming these are the top 10 films of 2025 that in my humble personal opinion are my favorites of the year.  (Images Source) Honorable Mentions: Last Breath and Revenge of the Sith rerelease Last Breath was a movie that came out pretty early in the year and I heard virtually no one talk about it. It was a tense, small film with a great line up of actors capturing an incredible true story that has to be seen to be believed! (Images Source) Marvel's slate of television series heading into phase 6 of the MCU isn't as vast as the future seemed the last time I discussed upcoming shows, but that can be attributed to an effort on Marvel's part to focus on quality over quantity, plus I'm sure they're holding back on announcing too many things that would be coming out after the Avengers climax to the Multiverse saga. We've gotten A LOT of Marvel heroes and series that further build out the world and characters of the MCU, blowing it up moreso than Marvel fans ever expected to see this universe flourish I'm sure. Moon Knight, She Hulk, Ms Marvel, Ironheart, not to mention lesser known characters like Echo and Agatha, along with Secret Invasion, the return of Daredevil in Born Again, and the very fun Spiderman: Freshman Year. Since I last took a look at what female characters from the Star Wars universe I wanted most in the line we've gotten many ranging from Mandalorian's Armorer to more Leias and another Padme, as well as prequel Jedi such as the above pictured Shaak Ti and Luminara! (Banner Images Source)   (Following Images Source) There are sides of the Star Wars franchise which sees more releases than others when it comes to what Hasbro's Black Series line puts out, and with the heavy focus on the Disney+ shows as of late we have seen less output from the films themselves; however, classic designs are still readily being pumped into the line and from each film in the franchise I'm still getting a lot of figures I want, such as Bodhi Rook from Rogue One, Celebration Luke and Ewoks from the original trilogy, and Dooku, Super Battle Droid, and Droidekas from the prequel trilogy!   (Image Source) The latest Disney+ Star Wars show has wrapped up and Ahsoka has added another epic chapter to the Disney Star Wars universe. We got what is essentially another season of Rebels, one of the best animated shows from the universe, and it was epic seeing so many of those characters in live action for the first time! Not only that, but we were introduced to plenty of great new characters as well such as Baylan and Shin, and Hasbro's Black Series line has done a fantastic job of really filling out the cast of the series so far! Even still, there are some major characters that Hasbro hasn't touched upon yet, and in this list I'll be counting down my top 5 most wanted figures from the Ahsoka series! 5. Ant-Man 3 fell a bit flat, though Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is one of my favorite movies to come out this year! In terms of the Marvel Legends figure representations the Guardians have been the ones to really win out so far between the two with an entire wave and a deluxe figure to their name, while Ant-Man and the Wasp only got part of a Build-A-Figure wave. Both films don't have too many more figures needed to round out the primary casts and characters, and so this'll be my breakdown of my top wanted action figures from Hasbro for these two 2023 films.  5.
