Ruby and Sapphire were the first Pokemon games I played as a child that really resonated with me, with its diverse ecosystem, the varied land involving tree houses, deep dives, towns within icebergs, sea wreckage to explore, and the Pokemon of this region have cemented themselves as some of the most iconic in my brain. There's so many I'm happy to have already, yet so many more I hope to see down the line and ones that are amongst my favorite of the Hoenn Pokemon! With Jazwares pumping out the smaller 2 inch scaled battle figures more than any other size class, I'm focusing right now on my top 5 most wanted Hoenn 2 inch scale Pokemon from Jazwares! 5. Whismur Just like the Slaking line, the Exploud line is another Pokemon evolutionary line that stands out to me a lot. I feel like its been forever since I wrote about Mega Construx's line of buildable Pokemon sets but at the same time I feel like product for this line has been very scarce this year. It could be because of Covid, or the emphasis on Halo, but I'm missing that constant stream of Pokemon we used to get and every new release gets me excited. From my previous list where I discussed what sets would be most likely to be coming out soon, I was right on the counts of getting other region's starter Pokemon, Greninja, Raichu, Kanto "non evolvers" like Scyther, Electabuzz, and Mr Mime, Eevee's evolutions, and Detective Pikachu based sets. I've added some new choices to this updated list, dropped some who were left over on the first, and with the hopes that we'll get lots more Pokemon sets in the future here are the top 10 Pokemon Mega Construx sets I think I are most likely vol 2! After playing through Lets Go on the Switch, Sword and Shield were the first true Pokemon games to come out on the Swith and I really enjoyed playing through the whole time! The graphics took a definite upgrade, and I really loved the Wilds which is the closest we have had to an open world Pokemon game. I'm very excited for what this larger, more powerful console engine can do for the Pokemon world now that they've done a bit of experimentation, and with the Pokemon Direct event coming up, here are the top 5 Pokemon games I'd like to see in the future! Pokemon's Mega Construx sets have been steadily releasing for the past couple of years and this year saw a big focus on the Detective Pikachu movie that came out earlier in the year. A couple years ago, the yearly animated movie releases for the Pokemon franchise saw a reboot with the release of Pokemon: I Choose You. Previous to that, the animated movie series had been long running and came out with each coming game, but the story has been reset and a new Ash has been leading adventures with different friends, allies, and legendary beasts. The legendary Pokemon have always been the focus of the movies, and I'm already anticipating which of these special Pokemon I want to see next in the franchise. Thus far, we've gotten Ho-Oh, Lugia, Entei, Suicune, Raikou, Marshadow, Mew, Mewtwo, and Zeraora; a decent line up for only three movies, but there's still a few I'd like to see. Continuing on with my series of Pokemon Pokeball sets and what Pokemon of each type I want to see in the line, I'll be focusing on the poison type for which first evolutions and smaller Pokemon I want to see in the Pokeball line! 5. Trubbish I know a lot of peple take issue with this Pokemon, but I thought it was a really neat concept and looked neat as a Pokemon. It's a great representation of litter in the world, and the expansiveness of its presence. The difference in colors and objects associated with this Pokemon would be a challenge to bring to a buildable form. (Image Source) 4. Gulpin This Pokemon looks like a lot of fun, with a nice round body and a funny looking puckered lips face. It's little arms would be a fun addition to what would be a rounded body build. Arguably one of the largest pools of Pokemon types in the games is the normal type Pokemon. There is an ocean of them compared to other types, and that gave me a wide pool of Pokemon to choose from while making this list. Mega Construx's line of buildable Pokeball sets don't seem to be slowing down anytime soon, so here are the first evolution normal type Pokemon I want most in the $7 Pokeball sets! 5. Dunsparce I think this Pokemon looks wild. It is very strange, very outlandish, and very odd in design. From what I gather, it is based off of a sand serpent in old mythology, which is awesome, and this Pokemon's strange design partnered with the fact that it has no evolution makes it much more of a mystery than the usual Pokemon in my opinion. I love Smeargle as a Pokemon, how it looks like one of those artists with the berets, and how it uses its tail to paint....
