I've mentioned before how excited I am for the Fox Xmen series to be entering the Marvel Legends lie with some great looking figures so far! The Deadpool movie actually composes most of the first offering, with Deadpool himself, Cable, Domino, and Negasonic all a part of the initial assortment. With the popularity of these two films, I'm sure that if the line continues we'll get plenty more Deadpool based figures, and here are the top 5 I'd like to see made. Hasbro dropped an absolute bombshell in my opinion when they announced they were going to make Marvel Legends figures based around the Fox Xmen movies! The line is starting off strong with two renditions of Wolverine, Magneto, Professor X, Mystique, and an assortment of Deadpool characters. As a massive fan of (most of) Fox's Xmen franchise I couldn't be more excited about these characters being realized in figure form for the first time in a while and for the first time ever in the case of some. Hasbro has stated already that the line could continue if the first batch does well and I hope it does, because I have a few ideas of who I want next. Toyfair 2020 has come to a close and I can say that the show itself was not a let down. So many toy companies unveiled and revealed so many great looking figures, with some amazing surprises along the way among tons of great looking figures! The only thing I'll say I was disappointing in was that there wasn't a whole lot of Star Wars the Black Series that hadn't already been revealed or leaked in some way. The Snowspeeder is definitely impressive though! I have really no complaints about the rest of the show though, and in particular these five reveals I'm about to discuss are my favorite moments of the whole weekend! When Deadpool 1 hit theaters it is safe to say that it made a sizable splash in the superhero genre and swore its way into the hearts of fans everywhere, and while some may disagree with me, the movie may have been very different from those before it, but Deadpool 1 wasn't the best film. It was bogged down by too much Wade Wilson and not enough Deadpool, and relied on raunchiness and gore to differentiate itself instead of the trademarked fourth wall breaking humor. Suffice to say, Deadpool 2 remedied that all for me, with a movie that rarely takes Deadpool out of the suit, gives a complex story filled with surprising heart, and crams more fourth wall gags than you could count.
