(Images Source) Marvel's slate of television series heading into phase 6 of the MCU isn't as vast as the future seemed the last time I discussed upcoming shows, but that can be attributed to an effort on Marvel's part to focus on quality over quantity, plus I'm sure they're holding back on announcing too many things that would be coming out after the Avengers climax to the Multiverse saga. We've gotten A LOT of Marvel heroes and series that further build out the world and characters of the MCU, blowing it up moreso than Marvel fans ever expected to see this universe flourish I'm sure. Moon Knight, She Hulk, Ms Marvel, Ironheart, not to mention lesser known characters like Echo and Agatha, along with Secret Invasion, the return of Daredevil in Born Again, and the very fun Spiderman: Freshman Year. (Image Source) Marvel's 2022 slate has wrapped up and overall another decisive year for Marvel with a lot of projects fans weren't as happy with, while others were great crowd pleasers! Phase 4 has come to a close, with phase 5 hopefully bringing in some tighter story telling and more satisfying projects overall. The Marvel Legends line has continued to run strong though, and while just about all of the projects on this list have had great representation in the toyline so far there are still plenty of new characters and designs from the MCU shelf of my display that I'm waiting to have fulfilled! Moon Knight: Arthur Harrow (Image Source) I could easily see this character being the next release in the Disney+ waves of figures from the Moon Knight tv show, which overall did leave a good taste in fans' mouths! (Image Source) The final film of Marvel's 2022 slate and phase 4 slate overall has come out, and they definitely saved one of their best for last. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was an emotional journey honoring Chadwick Boseman and I think the film's exploration of grief and how we deal with it was fantastic. All of the characters were standout, and Shuri herself has no doubt been elevated ten times as a character fit to wear the Black Panther mantle! Hasbro's Marvel Legend lines gave us a solid offering of designs from the movie, checking off major characters like Namor, Ironheart, and Shuri herself in her Black Panther suit, but there's still a few more possibilities to round out the figure display for the movie... 5. I've looked at the MCU's phases 1 and 2 for inspiration of what Marvel Legends figures I'd like to see made next, so the next logical step is to look into phase 3 which is arguably the strongest phase of films Marvel had in their first 10 years. So many incredilbe films and moments took place over this span of time, with the largest amount of films yet being released, and the culmination of the Infinity Saga taking place! With 11 movies to take a look at, these are the 11 characters I want most across these films from Civil War to Far From Home! I was extremely on board with the idea of What If...? The show was poised to give us so many unique, compelling ideas and with the show being animation there was no limit to what they could pull off with each episode! In the end, I think 'fun' is what best describes the show; however, I wasn't overly impressed with it in terms of story and characters aside from a handful of episodes. I'm still a huge fan of this show's concept and can't wait for it to continue in season 2!
