(Images Source) The latest Japanese Transformers show I have caught up on was Beast Wars Neo, one that Hasbro has taken great notice of with two fantastic releases thus far in the modern era. Magmatron was a major surprise for the Commander Class price point as well as one of the plain funnest figures in recent years, with Big Convoy a long time coming that fans have been asking for. The show itself ended up being a great follow up to Beast Wars 2, with a conclusion that tied it to its predecessor and brought it to a climax that felt sitting of two shows. With a whole league of excellent designs ripe to be made, these are my top 5 Beast Wars Neo figures I want from Hasbro! 5. After finishing Car Robots, Beast Wars 2 was the next Japanese animated Transformers series I delved into. While it was only "2" in name with no major connections to the original Beast Wars aside from a cameo appearance during a movie special, Beast Wars 2 was still a ton of fun and a great addition to the beast side of the Transformers franchise. Hasbro has already given us several characters from the series with their recent focus on multiple Transformers series, with the principle hero Leo Convoy made in both his primary form and copy Nemesis Leo form, along with Tasmanian Kid as the wild younger brother of the heroes, and a few years back we did get an anime accurate color scheme set of Seacons following Power of the Primes. Transformers continues to be one of the flagship brands of Hasbro's toylines, and 2024 was no different with several unbelievable releases across their many different lines. From the conclusion to Legacy, the continuation of Studio Series, and a long awaited Masterpiece offerings, these are my top 5 favorite Hasbro Transformers figures of the year 2024! (Images Source) 5. Commander Class Optimus Prime There likely is not a single favorites list of 2024 talking about Transformers that does not include this figure. The Commander Class Optimus Prime was highly anticipated and completely delivered on the premise of giving us the perfect Optimus Prime figure. It is a beautiful piece that matches the animation and includes all of his signature accessories, allowing fans their chance at an Optimus Prime that will be impossible to top in the mainline again.  4. (Images Source) Getting so many Beast Wars figures all in one year during the Kingdom toyline was a true dream for fans of the series, and while the stream of Beast Wars figures has been reduced to a trickle, we've still gotten some fantastic additions to the cast in the past few years. Tarantulas and Inferno concluded our season 1 cast, while others like Tigerhawk, Silverbolt, and Dragon Megatron have done a lot to further the universe of the toyline. With the toyline now giving attention to every universe in the Transformers franchise it is expected that output each year from each Transformers universe will be low, but these are what I hope to still see down the pipeline for Transformers Beast Wars! 5.   (Images Source) The Commander Class in Hasbro's Transformers line has been one of the coolest scale prices in recent years, being introduced in the first year of the War for Cybertron line with a fantastic rendition of G1 Jetfire, followed by a perfect Sky Linx, and from then for a while it has mostly been a way to really flesh out the designs of characters who come with big trailers. Rodimus Prime is probably one of the best Transformers figure ever made, Motormaster rounded out the Stunticons well, Armada Optimus is literally one of my favorite figures to ever be made, and the upcoming Magmatron is a welcome return to plain old bigger bots in the scale line; not to mention that he looks epic! Studio Series has also finally jumped into the Commander Class game as well, with Ultra Magnus putting itself on par with the Masterpiece figure! (Image 1 Source)   (Image 2 Source) Hasbro is hitting us hard and fast with the Rise of the Beasts products this year, and I'm so excited that we won't have to be waiting years to get decent coverage for the designs and characters in the film like we were stuck doing with the Bumblebee movie (can't believe it wasn't until last year we got most of those Cybertron designs in figure form, the designs people were asking for figures most of). We've gotten a slew of the cast already revealed for the upcoming movie, including Maximals Cheetor and Airazor, along with villains like Battletrap, Freezer, and an epic looking Scourge, not to mention some of the base Autobot cast as well with Bumblebee and Arcee!
