(Banner Image Source)   (Following Images Source) The line up of female heroes and villains in Mcfarlane's DC Multiverse line of figures has been steadily growing over the past few years, certainly more so than they did in the first couple of years during the line, but there is still a major deficit when it comes to the female characters of the DC universe and there are more than a few who haven't been debuted in the line quite yet. With major heroines like Power Girl, Huntress, and Starfire coming out as of late, the tables are turning in a nice direction and this post will count down the female characters I hope to see finally come to the line next! Honorable mention: Hawkgirl As a major member of both the Justice Society and Justice League Hawkgirl has more than a few places she can nicely fit into the display, not to mention her major role in the pre-Dark Knights Metal line up of the Justice League. (Banner Image Source)   (Following Images Source) A recent announcement by Mcfarlane about a clever way to keep the Batman Retro line fully stocked with upcoming figures has been to introduce the New Adventures of Batman series into the line so that there are now two classic shows that are being pulled from. I have no idea this show even existed before this wave of figures was announced, but at only around 16 episodes in total I went through the show in all of its cheesy, vintage, children's show glory. While not the pinacle of what Batman tv can be, it was plenty entertaining for when it came out, with some fun designs for many classic characters that can greatly go beyond the line up we have so far! Honorable mention: Zarbor To start off with an honorable mention: Zarbor is from the same dimension as Bat-Mite, yet much more malicious in his attempts at evil whereas Bat-Mite was a lovable, comedic foil for the dynamic duo in the series.   (Image Source) If there is one group in DC comics that Mcfarlane has been showing especial love to it has been the Bat family and their rogues gallery. This is unsurprising as Batman and his mythos are certainly the most popular part of the DC Universe right now (a quick look at DC Comics solicitations will reveal a startling amount of Bat-related titles, whereas characters like Aquaman have no currently running comic series). Since my last list talking about Batman supporting characters that I want in the line we've received multiple Tim Drakes, Batman Beyond, Batwing, as well as an awesome looking Batwoman (stuck in a three pack with rereleases unfortunately), and so here is my updated list of most wanted Mcfarlane DC Multiverse Batman supporting characters.  5. (Image Source) Following up on Batman Eternal was Batman and Robin Eternal, another weekly comic event for the Bat family that I think I enjoyed even more than the first Eternal title! Much shorter than Batman Eternal, allowing for tighter story telling and less divergent plot points, Batman and Robin Eternal saw the Bat family in the absence of Bruce following the Endgame storyline unravelling a decades old secret that Bruce had been tangled within years ago. It did some great character building for a lot of characters in the series, introduced a very shadowy organization with a very compelling mystery behind Batman's prior involvement, not to mention a great plot reveal regarding the history of Bluebird's origin! Despite Mcfarlane's heavy focus on Bat themed characters we're still missing several important ones, a lot of which will appear on this list! 5. While I do wish that Mcfarline's line of Retro 66 Batman figures based on the Adam West TV show were super articulated and in the same scale as the typical DC Multiverse figures, the figures they've been producing are still lots of fun and it's great to have this expanding line of characters from the classic tv show! At this point we've gotten a lot of all the typical members that are checked off first, with Catwoman, Riddler, and Penguin rounding out the main cast. Mcfarlane's DC line continues to expand and grow with new characters and new designs of characters being added at every turn, and the line seems to have more and more figures being released every month! This being my seventh go around now on the subject I won't waste much time on an intro, I'll simply explain that with the line exploring all the facets of the Multiverse with so many alternate versions and designs of characters being utilized, I'm looking at what characters we have in the line already and which designs for these characters I'd like to see next!
