Proving to be the beast of the action figure world Marvel Legends has chugged out another massive year in figures! It seemed as though a new wave was popping up in store shelves every time I turned around, and I couldn't be happier to see a line getting such success! I'm primarily an MCU collector, so for my end of year ranking video for my personal favorites of the year there won't be much outside of the MCU realm of figures, but that isn't to discredit comic book figures or videogame figures. This is just a reiteration that its all personal preference, and my list can look wildly different from your list, but for my blog this list will encompass what were my personal top 5 favorite Marvel Legends figures of 2021 from Hasbro! After a bit of a lull between Marvel between with Far From Home to this year, Marvel has come back in full force and swinging wildly. Not just with the amount of MCU related projects being released (which is extensive) but the amount of figures being produced by Hasbro as well! They're working overtime at this point to assure that most of the cast of each movie is covered with a film's release, and so for once coming around to the MCU releases this year a lot of these shows and movies have been pretty well filled out. There's always room for more on the action figure shelf however, and with 2021 stampeding to an end let's look at each of the MCU's outings from phase 4 this year and what characters still need figures most! With delays upon delays, Marvel's phase 4 movie line up has taken some time to really get going but we're now three movies deep and even with some more recent delays it looks like things are really going to get rolling once again! Marvel Legends on the other front has been rolling excessively hard and not slowing down one bit, especilly when it comes to the MCU figures which I'm a huge fan of! From Black Widow, Shang Chi, and Eternals, the most recent MCU films, Hasbro has very nicely filled them all out with nearly every action figure worthy character from these films being made! That's especially impressive when it comes to the substantial cast of Eternals! Marvel has finally revealed their phase 4 line up and while it has a shorter list of movies attached to it, with the complete absence of an Avengers film, the movies coming up are very exciting and Marvel seems to be considering phase 4 to include both their movies and their new tv shows which does boost the phase 4 project count to 10. For this list I'll be focusing on the movies only, with a list detailing my excitement about the tv shows coming another time. Marvel Studios has managed to make the most successful interconnected universe of cinematic movies ever, and 10 years of planning has culminated in the recent Avengers: Infinity War. Between all the hype for this event, there have been the questions about what will come next and what the franchise will be like after Thanos' story. Well, several movies have already been confirmed for Phase 4 of the Marvel universe; which will start after next year's "Captain Marvel" and the untitled "Avengers 4". Out of all those projects, these are the ones I'm most looking forward to seeing. Black Panther 2 I found the first Black Panther movie largely enjoyable.
