(Image Source) The Mandalorian and Grogu has finally premiered and it brought with it a whole second wave of figures to flesh out the cast of the film for Hasbro's 6 inch Black Series line. We've gotten big characters like Embo and Zeb who were missing from the first wave, not to mention army builders like the remnant Snowtroopers and a Mercenary Droid which I was both hoping to see developed into figures in the line! Having seen the film for myself I know there are several more designs that would make for amazing action figures from a film filled to the brim with alien and droid designs!  5. Hugo Durant (Image Source) Rio was one of my favorite parts of the Solo movie, so seeing another of his species appear it was a ton of fun, now as a food truck chef who serves Mando with information throughout the film. (Images Source) The latest and one of the most anticipated Star Wars projects has premiered and wrapped up its stellar first season. Maul: Shadow Lord has proven to be one of the best projects in recent Star Wars history, giving the focus to one of the best characters of the franchise and creating a well crafted story across 10 episodes with some of the most epic lightsaber duels ever. Hasbro's Black Series line of figures launched with four releases to celebrate the show, including some big names like Devon and the deadly Eleventh Brother, but there are plenty more characters I'd like to see before the line moves on.  5. (Images Source) The latest Japanese Transformers show I have caught up on was Beast Wars Neo, one that Hasbro has taken great notice of with two fantastic releases thus far in the modern era. Magmatron was a major surprise for the Commander Class price point as well as one of the plain funnest figures in recent years, with Big Convoy a long time coming that fans have been asking for. The show itself ended up being a great follow up to Beast Wars 2, with a conclusion that tied it to its predecessor and brought it to a climax that felt sitting of two shows. With a whole league of excellent designs ripe to be made, these are my top 5 Beast Wars Neo figures I want from Hasbro! 5. Hydra The pure ease of making this character has me wondering why it hasn't happened yet. Of all the Terrorsaur repaints we've received in the line so far, Hydra would be one that introduces a brand new character into the line up and brings with him a vibrant purple and red color scheme that screams on the...

(Images Source) With Powerglide, Outback, and Seapray amongst others now introduced into the modern day collecting era of Transformers, we're inching closer and closer to the fully fleshed out cast of the original G1 series. We're needling it down to some of the tertiary characters, but even they need figure support, and with 2026 well under way these are my top five most wanted G1 Transformers figures to this point. 5. Tailgate I will admit I really don't remember Tailgate at all, though that owes to his very scant appearances in the later portions of the show. Nonetheless, when talking about figues that still need to be made from the G1 series he is one that stands out as the final minibot needed to complete that iconic roster. With Swerve coming in hot (in a very red painted wave of figures) the stage is now set for Tailgate to follow suit, wrapping up the deluxe classed minibots fans have been eating up since Cliffjumper's release in WFC.  4. (Images Source) Following up on my post I had made about the top Cobra figures I wanted made in Hasbro's GI Joe Classified toyline, I am now focusing solely on the Joe side of things. The heroes of the story who battle Cobra day in and day out, each with their own special abilities and training, their own themes, and potentials to be some of the coolest figures in the line! 5. Ambush Ambush has me excited for his accessory options more than anything. A poncho and a whole tent set up for his camouflaged stake outs are all a must, and with Doc coming with a whole stretcher at the standard price point I hope that means that Ambush would be do-able with all that at the standard price point too. We've already seen camouflage materials introduced into the line by way of the Action Marine - Sniper, so the pieces are already coming together for an Ambush release!  4. While the Black Series 6 inch line of figures from Hasbro can sometimes feel like it's slowed down, it no doubt still releases plenty of exceptional releases throughout the year and 2025 was no different! With the first waves of 2026 already upon us, this is my look back at my top five favorite Hasbro Star Wars Black Series figures from last year! (Images Source) 5. Luminara My jaw was literally dropped when I saw the Fan Channel wave reveal of Luminara, Shaak Ti, and Sebulba. Undoubtedly one of the best waves for Prequel fans, and while I personally prefer Shaak Ti I can't deny that Luminara came out as a more well rounded action figure. the soft goods have great detail on them, the head sculpt is immaculate and the design of the headdress still allows for plenty of head movement.  4. (Banner Images Source) The videogame side of the Star Wars universe has continued to have a large foothold in the 6 inch scale Black Series action figure line from Hasbro, delving into more and more new sculpts as opposed to the original repaint exclusive Gaming Greats line. Kyle Katarn is up for release in the next few months, and over the past few years we've received lots of iconic videogame characters like Malgus, Malak, Starkiller, the Republic Commandoes, as well as numerous grunts from Jedi Order and Survivor, not to mention other newer gaming characters like Cal, Merrin, and even Turgle! It has me hopefully that we will see more and more videogame characters entering the line in 2026, with quite a few in my most wanted hopes! 5.
