(Images Source) Marvel's slate of television series heading into phase 6 of the MCU isn't as vast as the future seemed the last time I discussed upcoming shows, but that can be attributed to an effort on Marvel's part to focus on quality over quantity, plus I'm sure they're holding back on announcing too many things that would be coming out after the Avengers climax to the Multiverse saga. We've gotten A LOT of Marvel heroes and series that further build out the world and characters of the MCU, blowing it up moreso than Marvel fans ever expected to see this universe flourish I'm sure. Moon Knight, She Hulk, Ms Marvel, Ironheart, not to mention lesser known characters like Echo and Agatha, along with Secret Invasion, the return of Daredevil in Born Again, and the very fun Spiderman: Freshman Year. (Banner Image Source)   (Following Images Source) Spiderman The Animated Series has enjoyed quite the wealth of figures in Hasbro's Marvel Legends line and it seems like it has no intention of slowing down after recent releases and reveals such as the long awaited Chameleon! I finally got around to watching the show for myself and loved it (and hope to see a sequel from Disney similar to X-Men '97), so I've got my picks primed for the top 5 Marvel Legends figures I want based off of Spiderman The Animated Series! Honorable mention: Madame Web This is a character I'm surprised that Marvel Legends hasn't made in any form given her importance and iconic nature to the Spiderman mythos. While she would not be very active in terms of an action figures, she would be a splendid centerpiece to any Spiderverse display with her striking red and white costume, as well as her throne.  5. (Image Source) Sony's Spider-Man universe has been seeing a lot more activity in the Marvel Legends line of figures, especially with the release of No Way Home which granted us new figures for Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, not to mention several villains who had returned from other films like Doc Ock, Sandman, and The Lizard most recently! The Into the Spiderverse franchise has also exploded with action figure representation, with figures throughout both films being released across multiple waves at this point. It has been great seeing designs and characters from these films returning to action figure form, and this list will count down my next five most wanted Sony Spider-Man film figures. 5. (Image Source) The final film of Marvel's 2022 slate and phase 4 slate overall has come out, and they definitely saved one of their best for last. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was an emotional journey honoring Chadwick Boseman and I think the film's exploration of grief and how we deal with it was fantastic. All of the characters were standout, and Shuri herself has no doubt been elevated ten times as a character fit to wear the Black Panther mantle! Hasbro's Marvel Legend lines gave us a solid offering of designs from the movie, checking off major characters like Namor, Ironheart, and Shuri herself in her Black Panther suit, but there's still a few more possibilities to round out the figure display for the movie... 5. Hasbro's Marvel Legends wave for the fourth film in Thor's live action tenure did a great job giving us pretty much all of the big character from the movie; however, there are a few more which would help the display truly feel complete! The other Guardians of the Galaxy If the Guardians are still wearing these variations on their costumes by the time their third film comes out then we will in all likelihood get these versions of the characters in the line but for now all we have is Star-Lord in his post-Endgame attire. While Marvel's films have certainly boasted plenty of lackluster villains that fans will poke fun at, the franchise has also yielded us some of the best comic book movie villains across the genre! From the likes of Loki to Thanos to Zemo there are plenty of villains to be excited about, and that extends to the Marvel Legends side of things as many times I find the villains often make for the cooler action figures! We've been getting a lot of missed villains in the line in these past years like Iron Monger and Surtur to name two, but there are still a great deal of MCU antagonists that need to make the jump to action figure form! Proving to be the beast of the action figure world Marvel Legends has chugged out another massive year in figures! It seemed as though a new wave was popping up in store shelves every time I turned around, and I couldn't be happier to see a line getting such success! I'm primarily an MCU collector, so for my end of year ranking video for my personal favorites of the year there won't be much outside of the MCU realm of figures, but that isn't to discredit comic book figures or videogame figures. This is just a reiteration that its all personal preference, and my list can look wildly different from your list, but for my blog this list will encompass what were my personal top 5 favorite Marvel Legends figures of 2021 from Hasbro!
