Top 5 wanted yellow Power Rangers in Hasbro's Lightning Collection vol 3

Image
(Image Source) We've been getting a slew of Yellow Rangers recently in the Lightning Collection line by Hasbro, and with this influx we've gotten several of my most wanted Yellow Rangers from across the Ranger universe! Dino Thunder, Beast Morphers, and Lost Galaxy all have their Yellow representation checked off at this point, but with plenty of teams left to complete and plenty more to start on, here is another round of my most wanted Yellow Rangers from Hasbro's Lightning Collection line! 5. Kelsey (Image Source) A lot of the Yellow Rangers I'll be talking about in this list come from teams that haven't yet been introduced into the line, and Kelsey starts that off with the Lightspeed Rescue incarnation of the Power Rangers! This season surprised me as one of my favorites by the time it was over, with the storytelling, villains, setting, and the characters themselves!  Kelsey specialized in the realm of extreme sports when it came to her specialty in the team, mak...

Comparing Mattel's DC Multiverse line to Mcfarlane's part 7

Image
Flying into part 7 of my comparisons between Mattel and Mcfarlane when it comes to their DC Comics line of figures, I still see collectors who endorse that Mcfarlane's figures pale in comparison to what Mattel did and while I see things I like about some DC Universe Classics figures and other lines Mattel did, I can't see any point where those figures top the action figures being put out in present day. The vast variety of characters and designs from Mcfarlane is growing every year, and I truly think that character selection is the only thing Mattel has over Mcfarlane at this point, and even that is losing traction with some of the deeper cut characters we've been getting lately. So with Batman characters, Superman characters, Flashes, Green Lanterns, and some more niche characters on the platter for today, let's take a look at how the action figure game has changed from Mattel's days of old compared to the new age of Mcfarlane! Comparing Mattel's DC Multiverse line to Mcfarlane's part 6

Image
Roaring into year four of the license, Mcfarlane has been putting out fantastic figures in their tenure with the DC Multiverse license! It has sucked me in as a DC collector more than ever, and even helped propel me more and more into the pages of DC comics again! I've been very critical of Mattel before when comparing how they handled figures and character designs compared to how Mcfarlane is putting them out now, but even by the standards of when a lot of Mattel's figures were coming out they were already outdated, and it is an age old trial to compare the new to the old. So with Mcfarlane still pumping out designs that cover what Mattel gave us before, here is my 6th look at how both companies stack up against one another with 10 of Mattel's toys on the left and Mcfarlane's action figures on the right! 10. The Flash (CW) (Image 1 Source)   (Image 2 Source) Starting off the list will be a figure I was wanting for a long time when Mcfarlane took over the license, and t...

Most wanted alternate versions of McFarlane DC Multiverse characters vol 9

Image
Mcfarlane has continued giving us a plethora of characters and designs based on the DC Multiverse with several new characters being introduced into the toyline, along with several different variations on characters letting the line live up to the "Multiverse" title! I personally love seeing so many different versions of characters in the line, and here's another list going over alternate versions of characters I want to see in the toyline that we already have one or more figures of in some capacity! Jay Garrick: Earth 2 New 52                               Wallace West: Future's End                                  Impulse: Bar Torr (Image 1 Source)   (Image 2 Source)   (Image 3 Source) Kicking off this round of alternate designs I want to see from characters we've got in some shape or form alr...
