Top 5 most wanted Aquaman figures in Mcfarlane's DC Multiverse line

Mcfarlane's line has undoubtedly a heavy focus on Batman related characters, followed by Superman related designs and characters. Beyond that, Flash is easily the next hero to enjoy the spotlight in the line, followed by numerous variants of Wonder Woman (although we're only just now getting a more standard Wonder Woman design in the line). One Justice League character that deserves more than they've gotten so far would be Aquaman, King of Atlantis! We got an awesome comic book interpretation of the character to coincide with the Endless Winter wave, and after that a Page Punchers collection was released that can be seen above, which greatly expanded the cast of Aquaman characters in the line, not to mention the New 52 Orm released as a Target exclusive. While Arthur and his supporting cast are not as famous as the other heroes mentioned above, I still hope to see more of his cast of characters and designs brought into the line more, starting with the five below!

5. Shirtless Aquaman

The orange and green design for the character is definitely my favorite, and I'm glad to have gotten it in the line already; however, his shirtless design from modern comics that heavily invokes Jason Momoa's take on the character has deserved its own spot as well in DC design history. The tattoos combined with the beard and ripped physique gels perfectly for an epic looking Aquaman!

4. Hook hand Aquaman

Hailing from more classic comics, Aquaman looked the coolest he has ever looked when artists decided to give him a hook hand! This is easily one of the characters most iconic looks outside of the typical orange and green, and with Mcfarlane delving more and more into classic comic designs I'm hoping we'll eventually see hook hand Aquaman resurface in toy form! We've not gotten very many Arthurs when compared to the amount of Flash, Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman so far, so bring on more Aquaman variants!

3. Tula

Jackson Hyde has been a good start to filling out Aquaman's supporting cast, and these next three slots that I'm going to talk about would go a lot further to bring Aquaman's superhero family together when again, he has fallen behind a lot of the other characters in the line's representation. First up is Tula, who has such a striking design with the silvers and oranges of her costume. She's made recent appearances in Mera's miniseries, as well as the Aquamen comic, and would also do good in bringing more female representation to the line.

2. Mera

It is nearly synonymous in comics currently to talk about Mera when talking about Aquaman. She has carved out a hefty piece of the DC fame for herself, leading as Queen of Atlantis alongside Aquaman, and showing her own metal more than a few times over the course of the New 52-Rebirth era comic lines. Her own miniseries in the "DC Universe" branding was a highlight for the character, and I hope to get her soon to go along with Arthur and Orm!

1. Tempest

With the recent Titans BAF wave that we received earlier this year I would have loved for Garth to be included in it, or to have been released outside of the wave to coincide with a lot of his team members. I really enjoyed the Rebirth era Titans comic and he and Lilith were two of the big reasons, meaning that when they both left the team at the same time I was let down. He's made a few scattered appearances since then, including a comedic return in Teen Titans Academy where it turned out he missed all the news about Roy being dead! Though that may also speak to his sad absence in recent comics :(
