Top 5 most wanted X-Men 97' Marvel Legends
X-Men 97' blew my socks off in the best way, showing that Marvel really knows what they're doing with the characters now that they have them back from Fox. The show was such a fan continuation of the original Animated Series, and that classic theme was exhilarating to hear each time it played! Marvel Legends has not been slacking either with two whole waves of figures produced to represent the show, with figures from both waves selling like hot cakes! The Legends team have confirmed there will not be a third wave this year, but are looking to make more figures eventually, and these upcoming five are my most wanted from the series!
5. Bastion
The main antagonist of the show could have been seen as a spoiler so I am not entirely surprised we have not gotten Bastion in the line yet. We've gotten other villains like Goblin Queen so there is no shyness when it comes to producing villains from the excellent series, and I think either form of Bastion would make a wonderful addition.
4. Cable
A more prominent character in the series later on, Cable was finally revealed to Scott and Jean as their child who they had been forced to give up earlier in the series. An epic character as always, Cable has been an X-Men mainstay from the original animated series, and seeing him fighting proudly alongside his parents was a blast! Now I just need to find a 6 inch scale car to pose them all within!3. Jubilee
Jubilee has always been one of my favorites from the X-Men franchise, and while the movies keep snuffing her from larger roles it has been great rewatching The Animated Series and now 97' and seeing how much of a role she plays in them! The big yellow jacket, her spectacular looking mutant abilities, as the first character ever seen in the Animated Series she definitely deserves a new updated figure release.2. Beast
Taking the number 2 slot will be Hank, an absolute GOAT of a character and one who I really enjoyed watching. His kind nature, his studious input, his endless patience, he is in real life the X-Men I would most want to talk to and have a conversation with! There have been some great Beast figures put out in the past few years, but a 97' version would be great, especially since a lot of the comic releases look to omit pupils.1. Storm
Before watching the series I had heard there was a scene that paid homage to Man of Steel, and I definitely noticed it right off the bat as Storm took to her first flight after regaining her abilities! Her new costume looks so cool, and her arc overall was one that really built up her character and made her eventual return to the X-Men a hype event!
