Top 5 wanted Blokees Classic Version-S Kanto (Red/Blue) Pokemon
I was a humongous fan of the Mega Construx Pokemon line and followed it very closely for each new release (as is evident by the countless posts I made talking about Pokemon I wanted in the line). So I was more than disappointed when the line became little more than constant rereleases of the same Pokemon and sculpts we had already gotten, with spatterings of new Pokemon thrown in throughout the recent years. Now with Lego taking the brand from Mega we've seen the end of that line in totality, but a different up and coming company has actually made a splash this year with their own Pokemon offerings! The model kit company Blokees really made a name for themselves with their Transformers kits; however, they have several big name IPs under their belt at this point and 2025 saw Pokemon added to that. Their line seems to keep within a certain sense of scaling between the Pokemon, and capture articulation as well as 1:1 design style which appeals greatly to me, making it a great replacement to the Mega Construx Pokemon line and one I hope to see continue and truly flesh out the Pokemon world in buildable figure form! So far there are two general pricepoints with the smaller Classic Version-S line and the larger scale Classic Version-L line, and with this post I'll be focusing on the smaller pricepoint for my most wanted Kanto Pokemon from Blokees.
Honorable Mention: More Slowpoke sized Pokemon
Whereas Pokemon the size of Slowpoke required higher pricepoints from Mega Construx separate from their budgetary smaller sized line up, the inclusion of Slowpoke in wave 2 of the Classic Version-S figures means the breadth of Pokemon available to do at this pricepoint is much more open! Pokemon like Raichu, the Starter Mid-Evolutions, and Raticate should all be doable at this pricing, and I'd love to see more than just first-evolutions explored so well in the line.5. Mankey
What could make for one of the most articulated sets would be Mankey, one of my personal favorite Kanto Pokemon and one who has recently received one of the coolest evolutions with Annihilape. This is one Mega Construx did during their time with the license, and I'd absolutely love to see it and its evolutions explored in the line (especially since so far Blokees has seemingly made a point to work towards finishing out evolutionary trees).4. Doduo
One that we never got from Mega Construx is one of the most peculiarly designed Kanto Pokemon, that being the two-headed bird Doduo. It would make for a very fun release in the line and just like Mankey be possibly one of the most articulated giving its long limbs.3. Porygon
No doubt this would be one of the easiest to produce given Porygon's shape and aesthetic. This iconic Kanto Pokemon is dying for a Blokees set and the more industrial-type base that could be included with this release would be a ton of fun opening up a new scenery type for Blokees to start including.2. Clefairy
I've been a big fan of Clefairy since the Kanto games and have loved placing them on my team during playthroughs. Their connection to the Moon has always been a piece of lore I really enjoyed, and I've spent long stretches of Kanto searching for one in Mt. Moon before struggling through Zubats and Geodude's until I got lucky.1. Drowzee
Another Kanto Pokemon I love utilizing is Drowzee, a very creepy Pokemon when it comes down to it but one that I just have a lot of fun with. From its hypnotizing minigame in Pokemon Stadium, to its awkward, rotund design appearance, Drowzee is a Pokemon that doesn't stand out as much as the cuter Kanto offerings, and is one that Mega Construx never approached in the line.
